Islamic extremism thriving in German speaking countries and probably in the UK as well

Islam a 'religion of peace'? Like hell it is.

There’s a shocking claim being made by an undercover journalist from Germany that approximately one in ten of the mosques in the German speaking areas of Europe are promoting radical and hateful interpretations of Islam. The Pakistani born reporter Shams Ul-Haq, claims that he has visited ‘hundreds’ of mosques in Germany, Austria and Switzerland and found that many mosques were preaching hatred of the West and many other of the more troubling teachings of Islam.

The report by Mr Ul-Haq, which was originally published on the Austrian news site Kronen Zeitung, but has been translated and reproduced by Breitbart, should give all Europeans not just those in German speaking nations cause for concern. This is because there is likely to be a similarly high level of mosques engaging in extremism in other European countries including Britain. Worryingly it is quite possible that at least 10% of Britain’s nearly 2000 mosques harbour those preaching death to the rest of us. This is a problem that must urgently needs to be got a grip on by the Government. To have one or two mosques that are preaching death to the infidel, i.e. you and me, would be bad enough but we should not be tolerating nigh on 200 of the places doing the same.

Here’s part of the Breitbart interpretation of the Kronen Zeitung piece.

German author and undercover journalist Shams Ul-Haq claims to have visited hundreds of mosques across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland and says that one in ten mosques there preaches radical Islamic ideas.

Mr Ul-Haq, who is originally from Pakistan, said that the number of mosques that preach hatred of the west and adherence to radical Islamic ideas is growing across the German-speaking countries of Europe with at least 50 in Austria alone, Kronen Zeitung reports.

During his visits, Ul-Haq also noticed that the imams were often not the real drivers behind what was preached but were pushed by financial backers who dictate what they said in sermons.

Ul-Haq also met with radical Salafists but said that they did not immediately approach him and were very wary of newcomers.

It took almost two years for some to get in touch with me. They felt their way slowly, examining, watching. They are not stupid,” he said.

As I said earlier there is a lot to be worried about in Mr Ul-Haq’s piece. If his claims are correct and ten percent of the mosques he visited were preaching extremism and that Salafists were present in some of these mosques then it’s another piece of evidence to bust the ‘religion of peace’ lie. Of especial concern is the matter of Imams who are going along with the requests of these mosques outside funders to preach extremism. This certainly indicates that too many Islamic clerics may be all too willing to preach whatever interpretation of Islam the are told to preach, even if is one that calls for the death of my family and my nation. To have one in ten of a religion’s places of worship actively preaching for the death of the West should be the wake up call that the governments and security services of European nations need as to the true nature of Islam.

If Mr Ul-Haq’s data on the number of extreme mosques is correct, then it should also be an impetus for Western governments to start monitoring mosques more closely than may have been done in the past. Because of the violent nature of Islam and the danger that an ideology of violence may be being preached in mosques, it’s time for governments to take a much more critical interest in mosques. I would certainly like to see the licensing of both mosques and Imams and for all mosque organisations to place on public record where their funding is coming from.

It should also in my view be a requirement that some mosques be subjected to much more intense monitoring either by electronic or human means. This is because as we can now clearly recognise too many of Europe’s mosques are completely unlike the places of worship of other more peaceful faiths and because of that pose a threat to our safety. We should be very very concerned that Britain for example, going by Mr Ul-Haq’s data, could have between 150 and 200 mosques where a violent hatred of kufars is being promulgated.

It is in the mosques where is preached the sort of theological savagery that finds expression in attacks in Manchester, London, Berlin, Paris, Barcelona and elsewhere. The mosques that host preachers or which have policies that endanger the security of the people of Western nations are a pus-filled boil on the face of our societies. This is something that is quite plain to see now now, and governments should be enacting policies that will lance that boil before it poisons our nations and kills many more of my fellow countrymen.
