Lots of people choose to change or take up a particular religion for a number of different reasons. Some do this because they become theologically convinced that their chosen path is the correct one and others do this because they are looking for some sort of community for themselves. The vast majority of those who choose to follow Christianity or Judaism or Hinduism are not much of a problem for society as a whole. In fact those who choose such faiths, may end up contributing much to the wider societies in which they live because they follow the instructions of their faiths to ‘do good works’.

However it’s not such a positive story for those who decide to convert to the death cult which is Islam. There have been a litany of new Muslims who have decided that the way that they can best serve Allah is by killing non Muslims either as lone wolf terrorists or as part of a larger more well organised Islamic terror group. This I suppose should be expected as not only is Islam a violent faith, but it attracts those with a particular propensity to be violent.

The latest story about a new Muslim to come to my attention for being dodgy comes from ‘The Oklahoman’ a news source from Oklahoma USA (h/t ROP). They are carrying the story of a convert to Islam who has not only been accused of phoning in a fake bomb warning to a media company, but who also has been linked to a fake ‘hate crime’ carried out against a mosque.

The Oklahoman said:

A 34-year-old Oklahoma City man previously charged with making a terrorist hoax was arrested Thursday after police allege he called a television station and warned of a bombing.

Just before 8:10 a.m. Thursday, an employee of KOCO News received a phone call from a man who said he had “credible information that a man, who was into child porn, was going to carry out a bombing,” according to a police report. The employee told police the man said he would continue to communicate through email and hung up before she could ask any questions.

Unfortunately for the caller, a Muslim convert called Justin William Bouma, the call was traced back by the police and he was arrested for making the fake terror complaint.

What is particularly interesting about this case is that had previously been arrested for a similar offence that involved the sending of a ‘white powder’ to a mosque in Oklahoma that Bouma had previously attended.

The Oklahoman added:

Bouma was previously charged in Oklahoma County District Court with making a terrorist hoax stemming from an incident in 2016. He is also charged with malicious injury and destruction of property.

Prosecutors allege that on June 1, 2016, Bouma sent a letter, which contained a white powder, to the Islamic Society of Greater Oklahoma City. The powder was tested and found to be harmless.

It seems that neither of these cases, the ‘white powder’ one or the most recent one with the bomb threat to the television station, have yet completed their way through the courts. However the facts of this case, those that have so far been revealed, paint a picture of an extremely disturbed and possibly dangerous individual. In other words Bouma is the usual type of fraggle who becomes attracted to and joins the followers of the ideology of Islam.

This case, and similar cases of off the wall types becoming Muslim is yet another of those that show that you do need to be completely mad to want to join Islam, but it helps.
