I seems to be increasingly the case that when the tree of lunacy is shaken, the vast majority of the nuts seem to roll towards Brighton. This town on Britain’s south coast, a once relatively genteel resort, has become host to some of the worst excesses of the middle class Left and green knobwittery to be found in the United Kingdom today.
The latest example of this can be found in the local council’s adoption of a gender neutral policy when it comes to teaching menstruation in schools. The council have done this in spite of menstruation only being a phenomenon that affects biological females.
According to a report in the UK Daily Telegraph, the children in schools in the Brighton and Hove area are to be taught that ‘all genders can have periods’. This is complete and utter dishonest bullshit. Only women and girls have periods because menstruation is intimately connected to the possession of a womb, an organ that men and boys or those suffering from the mental delusion that they are ‘non binary’ do not have.
The council is following this policy in order to ‘remove the stigma’ about menstruation. But this stigma, if it indeed exists, could be dealt with by other means apart from feeding the delusions of children who think or have been convinced that they are a different gender. For example any stigma or confusion about menstruation could be dealt with by teaching the facts about this phenomenon to whole classes in lessons such as biology. This subject could even be covered in special lessons about the subject, one for girls and one for boys, so that girls – you know the ones who actually have periods – could speak freely without being embarrassed by having to speak about a very personal issue in front of boys. However, this would mean the schools and the local council having to admit to the biological and scientific fact that there are only two genders, something the various trans activist groups do not want.
I tend to agree with the description of ‘insanity’ given to this new policy by the Conservative MP David Davis. It is indeed a prime example how aggressive trans activists have gained undue influence over certain of Britain’s schools and turned them into trans affirming madhouses. This story makes me damn thankful that I do not live in Brighton and am not faced with the prospect of sending my son to a school that has abandoned the teaching of reality and instead teaches lies and falsehoods in order to placate the tiny minority of aggressive and arrogant transgender activists.
