Why on earth was this guy let into the UK?

Brahim Belkaid the dangerous Islamic savage whom Theresa May's Home Office allowed to settle in the United Kingdom

It appears that when Theresa May was Home Secretary, her department failed in one of its basic duties, that of keeping raving Islamic nutjob preachers out of the United Kingdom. As the department that has overall responsibility for securing Britain’s borders it is the Home Office that decides whether those who wish to enter the UK should in fact be allowed to come in.

There are lots of different types of people who should not be allowed to enter the UK and at the top of any list should be extremist Islamic hate preachers. Yet despite this being something that should be a priority for the Home Office, a German born Islamic hate preacher was allowed entry in 2013 during Theresa May’s time as Home Secretary. According to a recent report in the Daily Express, the extremist, Brahim Belkaid moved to the United Kingdom in 2013 after coming under increased surveillance by German security authorities because of his trips to Syria and his involvement in inspiring others to go and fight for ISIS and other Islamic terror groups in Syria. Brahim Belkaid is a prime example of the sort of savage that Britain should be taking every possible step to exclude from our country but it looks like it is something that the Home Office has failed to do.

The Express said:

A GERMAN hate preacher who allegedly helped inspire more than 100 jihadists to join terrorists in Syria moved to Britain during Prime Minister Theresa May’s time as home secretary, it has emerged.

Brahim Belkaid, 41, lived in Leicester for nearly five years where he preached on the streets of Britain, handing out extreme versions of the Quran to fans celebrating Leicester’s 2016 Premier League victory. He is said to have returned to Europe from Syria, where he is thought to have been supporting terrorists as the leader of Die Wahre Religion (DWR), “the true religion”, an organisation dedicated to winning over Muslim converts by distributing free copies of the Quran in Germany and countries across the continent. But the the religious texts followed the hardline Salafist version of Islam.

The Express seems to be being a little disingenuous here. There are no Salafist and non Salafist versions of the Koran, the Koran is the same whether it is being read by a Salafist or read by members of some of the tiny peaceful sects of Islam such as the Ahmediyya. The main difference is the interpretation of these texts.

The Express added that Belkaid distributed pro-jihad information on the pretext of distributing Korans and that jihadists were working and meeting using the cover of being Islamic Dawa operatives. This does not surprise me one bit. Using organisations and groups that can have a legitimate function, in this case distributing religious texts, as fronts for Jihad plotting is a perennial problem. This problem of ostensibly ‘peaceful’ groups being fronts for Jihadists will not be tackled until there is specific legislation that targets Islam alone and forces these groups to open their doors to security service and police inspection. We need to recognise that this use of peaceful groups to hide violent jihadis is not a problem that afflicts groups run by other religions, such as Christianity, Judaism or Hinduism for example, but only Islamic ones.

It is very disturbing to read that a man whom the Germans thought was serious trouble was allowed to waltz into the United Kingdom without let or hindrance. It is even more disturbing to realise that the person who presided over the department that allowed this to happen is now Britain’s Prime Minister.
