It must take a lot to be an ex Muslim or a questioning Muslim, what with the problems that some ex Muslims and heterodox Muslims have with being expelled from their families and their communities. Couple this with the very real possibility and fear that some Muslim individual will suddenly decide to murder an apostate (or those they perceive as apostates) for Allah and you have the makings for a very miserable time – Or does it?

One thing I have discovered is that ex and questioning Muslims have, like Jews have, a sense of humour borne of having to deal with adversity. This video by Veedu Vidz is I believe an example of that. Sometimes the best thing to do when confronted by a ranting extremist like Dr Zakir Naik is to boldly take the piss out of him and this video on a Christmas theme does just that.

Stand by for Veedu Vidz very original take on both Christmas tunes and the austere and dour pronouncements of Dr Zakir Naik. This is an excellent piss take of Dr Naik, although I have now had to switch to my substitute keyboard owing to the fact that my normal keyboard is now drying out having had coffee dropped on it when I laughed at Veedu’s video.
