Are these Islamic grievance mongers attempting to interfere in the campaign by a EU Parliament candidate or their supporters?

Tell Mama, Britain's taxpayer funded £1.9M playground grasses

It appears that the lavishly publicly funded Islamic grievance mongers Tell Mama are giving the impression that they feel that is OK to pressure Twitter to suspend a campaign account allegedly used by the anti Islamic extremism campaigner Tommy Robinson. Although Tell Mama may claim that they are not doing this, going after a man who is standing for election certainly does seem as if they are trying to interfere in this election.

This is especially the case as they seem to have little or nothing to say about any of the other Independent candidates standing, nor the revolutionary Trotskyists of the Socialist Party nor even the English Democrats. Tell Mama are also not going after the social media accounts of those in the now rabidly Jew hating Labour party. It is mostly Mr Robinson that these Islamic grievance mongers are going after. Odd that isn’t it?

The fact that Tell Mama have contacted Twitter management in order to get an account that could be one of Mr Robinson’s campaign accounts banned certainly seems to me to give the impression of election interference. Of course this may not be an account run by Mr Robinson but instead by a supporter of his campaign, but it still leaves a very nasty taste in the mouth that an organisation that was last year was in receipt of £1.9 should behave in this manner so close to an election. Organisations, especially censorious organisations like Tell Mama should have no influence whatsoever when it comes to elections, in particular organisations that are funded by the taxpayer.

I was alerted to this issue by the Tweets from Tell Mama which are screen-shotted below. The thread in which they congratulated Twitter for banning Mr Robinson can be found here: https://twitter.com/TellMamaUK/status/1128229002408284160

Whilst I recognise that Mr Robinson is currently banned from Twitter (and many other legacy social media sites as well although it has not seemed to hurt his campaign much from what I can see). Twitter should have made provisions to allow back, even if only on a temporary basis, any person previously banned who is officially on the poll. In fact I believe that for the sake of electoral probity, any candidate no matter who they are who is officially listed as a candidate, should be allowed access to social media. I say this not just as someone who supports Mr Robinson’s anti Islamic extremism message, but also as a British subject concerned that those standing for election should have access to social media.

I’ve no great love for the Trotskyist cult that is the Socialist Party nor many others who stand for election, but I would not want to see this sort of thing even happening to them. This is because access to social media during elections is important for everyone and every candidate should be able to use social media to get their message across. Access to social media in the modern age is I believe just as important as candidates having available copies of the Electoral Register so that they can send or distribute electoral communications.

It is disturbing in the extreme to see a publicly funded group engaging in what looks like an act of blatant political censorship, whether that be with regards to Mr Robinson himself or towards those who support him. Those of us who pay tax find it galling that so much of the money that we pay to the government is being expended on this now openly censorious group. I would strongly advise readers of this piece who are disturbed by these actions by Tell Mama take this issue up with their elected Parliamentary representative as it seems wrong to me and may well seem that way to others, that so much money is going to a group that behave like playground grasses.
