According to the British Pakistani Christian Association (BPAC), Asia Bibi the Pakistani Christian woman who was charged but then cleared of ‘blasphemy’ in Pakistan, may not be completely safe even in Canada, the nation that has given her sanctuary. They are stating on their website that there is a video doing the rounds showing an Islamic extremist, who claims he is in Canada, singing an Islamic song about bringing death to Ms Bibi. The extremist also rants about ‘fighting the enemies of Mohammed’ and how the ‘Jewish’ government of Pakistan set Ms Bibi free.

This is in my view an extremely worrying development. Ms Bibi should have been safe in Canada but if these threats made by the extremist are serious, and it is likely that they are, then Ms Bibi’s safety cannot be totally assured. It should be remembered that the Liberal Party government of Justin Trudeau has imported tens of thousands of people from Islamic lands in recent years and not all of them are safe people to have around. Readers may recall that attempts to get Ms Bibi asylum in the United Kingdom fell apart when the Government of Theresa May refused sanctuary on the grounds that her presence here could cause ‘community cohesion’ problems. In other words there are so many hate filled and violent followers of Islam that not only would Ms Bibi not be safe in the UK, but that there would be violence from some Muslims over the granting of sanctuary to her.

It would appear that although Canada let Ms Bibi in and gave her asylum, she faces a similar problem with hostile Muslims there as she would have done in the UK. Although not all Muslims want to murder Ms Bibi, there are enough who may want to. Even if the particular hate filled savage who is featured in the video spoken about by BPAC is apprehended, there may be many others who may have already been inspired by him and may pose a threat to Ms Bibi.

This could be a terrible ‘out of the frying pan and into the fire’ situation for Asia Bibi. This woman deserves and needs to be safe from the Islamic savagery that kept her imprisoned on dubious ‘blasphemy’ charges for so long. I can only hope and pray that the Canadian equivalent of Britain’s MI5, the Canadian Security Intelligence Service, are doing their utmost to search out, identify and prevent any threat to Ms Bibi’s life.
