Britons may remember a horrific knife spree attack that occurred on New Year’s Eve of 2018. The attack happened in Manchester when a man went completely apeshit at Manchester Victoria Station and stabbed a couple in their fifties and a police sergeant.

I recall that there was much consternation at the time about this attack. It is, it must be said, pretty terrifying for members of the public to be confronted by a screaming Muslim fraggle screaming about ‘allah’ and stabbing people. There was also some comment at the time about whether or not this could be a terror attack but the police bundled the attacker off to psychiatric hospital under the cover and authority of the Mental Health Act. Despite counter terror officers being involved from the start of this case, Greater Manchester Police (yes, this blog has covered GMP recently with regards to Tommy Robinson’s demonstration) seemed to take great pains to try to distance this attack and the attacker from the terms ‘terrorism’ and ‘terrorist’.

In earlier reports from January of this year the force was stressing that they were ‘consulting with medical professionals’ as to whether this savage could be considered as fit to charge. Some out there, including myself, suspected that the police were going to claim that this savage, who has since been named as Mahdi Mohamud aged 25, was a bone fide fraggle who didn’t know what he was doing and therefore couldn’t be charged. This would have removed the necessity for GMP to charge the man and show us all that here was yet another dangerous Muslim killer who just ‘pops up’ from Islamic culture now and again. Mad Muslims jumping out of nowhere and stabbing random people I suppose is, as London’s mayor Sadiq ‘Saracen’ Khan might say is ‘part and parcel’ of having a death cult as an element of our ‘diverse’ society.

Well, it’s now exactly five whole months since the attack at Manchester Victoria Station happened and finally Greater Manchester Police have finally charged Mohamud with terrorism offences. In effect GMP have put their hands up and admitted that this savage was not so much mad, which they tried to tell us at first he was, but instead is a bad but sane terroristic Islamic savage. There could be a number of reasons why GMP waited so long to admit what many viewers of the original horror at Victoria Station story correctly thought at the time. It could be that this guy was extremely mentally ill and genuinely could not be interviewed, or he was faking it in order to hold up the prosecution or the police wanted to calm down rising anger about Islam by sweeping this case under the carpet via the hospital order route. There is, I admit, a surfeit of cases where the catastrophically and violently mad choose a mad and violent religion, Islam, to follow, but this was so obviously a terror attack of some sort that terrorism should not have been dismissed so early by GMP. Five months seems like an awfully long time for such an obvious case of terrorism to be treated as such by the police and Crown Prosecution Service. ‘Tardy’ would be the best way to describe the way that GMP have handled this case.

Of course I’m glad that this man is being charged with three counts of attempted murder and a single count of possessing a document likely to be useful for a person committing or planning an act of terror. It’s right that this man should be tried in open court and if found guilty punished severely. However there are two things that bother me about this case. The first thing that worries me is would GMP, if they could have achieved it, kept this guy in hospital until such time as we’d forgotten all about the Manchester Victoria attack. He could then have been quietly released at some later date without too much overt public attention. The second worry that this case brings up for me is how many more ‘ready to blow’ Muslims like Mohamud are there out there? I reckon that there must be hundreds if not thousands of individuals similar to this person who may suddenly decide to go ‘full Islam’ and murder or attempt to murder people. Police forces and the government should admit that we have a big problem with Islamic violence and stop acting as if these random murderers just emerge from the aether and start dealing with this problem at its source, which are the Muslim communities of Britain. Until Islam is treated like the dangerous death cult that it really is, then these random savages will continue to pop up like jack in the boxes and kill yet more innocent people in the name of their bloodthirsty deity Allah.
