Zipedee Trudeau, zipedee ay, for Justin it ain’t such a wonderful day

If there is one thing that is guaranteed to upset the Left it is white people dressed up in blackface. Now I can understand to a certain extent why this can be upsetting as blackface has its roots in the ‘Coon songs’ and ‘minstrel shows’ of the once racially divided USA. Blackface, as many will know, has a long and somewhat troubling history. This is because blackfaced white minstrels were often used to denigrate black Americans and to sanitise the institution of slavery.

The whole blackface thing has fallen out of fashion in both the USA and the UK, where the last gasp of minstrelsy went away with the cancelling by the BBC of the ‘Black and White Minstrel Show’ in 1978. However there seems to be one individual who seems extremely enthusiastic about the idea of blackface and it is a most surprising one. It’s the uber-Liberal, Muslim loving Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

Trudeau and his campaign to remain Prime Minister at the forthcoming General Election on October 21st has been rocked by revelation after revelation in the press of Trudeau’s penchant for blacking up. This history of taking part in an activity that has been seen as a bit ‘off’ for at least twenty five years, may upset some of those on the Left who voted for Trudeau in the past on the grounds that he was impeccably politically correct. These blackface incidents along with corruption scandals and Trudeau’s decision to allow into Canada thousands of dangerous Muslim ‘refugees’, will no doubt tarnish the image of Trudeau for those voters who are either on the Left or the Right.

If there is one thing that this Trudeau blackface case shows it is the hypocrisy of the Left. Trudeau has spend a goodly part of his premiership lecturing Canadians about racism, transphobia and homophobia and has even been seen wearing ‘Ramadan themed socks’ at one event. Although I don’t believe that people should be roasted too much over past mistakes, after all we are all too human with human frailties and mistakes, the revelations that keep coming out show that blackface was not a one off thing with Trudeau.

It appears, at least according to a USA Today piece chronicling Trudeau’s blackface incidents that Trudeau had a bit of a habit of donning blackface and appearing as if he should be a character in Disney’s ‘Song of the South’ movie, which is now seen as racist because of its portrayals of black people. What next for Trudeau? Are we going to see video footage emerge of Trudeau singing ‘Zipedee Do Da’ in an afro wig and covered in boot polish? It certainly would not surprise me one bit bearing in mind just how much is coming out about soy boy Trudeau and his blackface habit.

Trudeau has sold himself to both the Canadian people and the world by leaning heavily on his uber-liberal public image. However, this string of incidents tarnishes this image and may well show that underneath Trudeau’s carefully crafted front, may be an individual possessed of very poor judgement. What gets me is even when I was much younger in the 1980’s and got to go to quite a few fancy dress parties, I never blacked up, although I did once go to a fancy dress party, with a friend with both of us dressed as German submariners. I knew back then that blacking up was iffy to say the least, which to my mind puts a whole new spin on Trudeau’s blackface habit. He was doing this back in the 1990’s when any reasonably well informed person would have known that blacking up was a bit morally dodgy so to speak.

Trudeau has, in my opinion been bad for Canada. He is a poseur whose policies have not only flooded Canada with dangerous Muslim ‘refugees’, but which have also almost totally eviscerated Canadian citizens right to speak freely about all subjects including sensitive ones such as gender, race and religion. It is a supreme irony that Trudeau may be removed from office in part not because of his dodgy policies, or the importation of dangerous Muslims and other ‘refugees’, but instead for these acts of monumental stupidity, bad judgment and crassness.
