The French security s***show – Could it happen in other Western nations as well?

Michael Harpon the attacker who killed police officers during a jihadist attack

I opened up the computer this morning to find out via the Daily Mail that a number of opportunities to stop the Paris police stabber Michael Harpon were either missed or refused. As time passes from the stabbing spree by a Muslim savage at the Paris police headquarters, more information is coming out about the background of the stabby savage. This information makes for grim reading and could well show that chances to stop this savage were either missed or not followed up, presumably for reasons of political correctness. This story also illustrates just what an appalling shitshow French security vetting procedures have become.

From reading the press report there seems to be a staggering number of chances to stop this savage and prevent these deaths of police officers. What’s worse is that a number of concerns were raised about Harpon’s behaviour and his attitude to Islamic atrocities such as the Charlie Hebo massacre which were either not passed up the management chain or which were not pushed by the staff with the concerns.

The first thing to be revealed that should have rung a whole tower of alarm bells is the fact that contrary to the original reports, the savage Harpon had not only been a Muslim for 18 months but instead had converted to this death cult in 2008. He had also displayed signs of radicalisation such as praising the Islamic murderers who attacked and killed staff at the Charlie Hebdo magazine. When this praising of the Charlie Hebdo murderers incident occurred staff, who had concerns about Harpon, who was working on counter jihad intelligence at the time of the police headquarters attack, did not press the matter with management. The newspaper said that the staff ‘decided not to make a report’. We should of course ask why and also whether or not a culture of political correctness played a part in silencing concerns about Harpon’s behaviour?

The Daily Mail said:

He (Harpon) had defended ‘atrocities committed in the name of that religion,’ anti-terror prosecutor Jean-Francois Ricard said Saturday.

But even though a police official charged with investigating suspected radicalisation among the force questioned the colleagues, none of them wanted to file an official complaint.

I have to ask why on earth these colleagues didn’t want to file an official complaint despite this savage’s actions being investigated by a police officer tasked with rooting out Islamic fifth columnists in the police? Was this some sort of misplaced loyalty to a colleague or did they fear that a complaint would rebound on them bearing in mind that Harpon being black, a Muslim and deaf, had so many leftist ‘victim points’ that disciplinary attention would be turned on them?

I get the distinct impression from this article in the Mail that despite ample evidence that Harpon was a wrong’un, nobody wanted to rock the boat.

It appears that this savage was only vetted once, when he joined the police’s intelligence unit and was not re-vetted or monitored, as in my view should be the case, with those working in highly sensitive areas such as counter terrorism. It is especially odd to see the police being so lacking in common sense when dealing with Harpon at a time when French police are known targets of Islamic terrorists.

Harpon didn’t just give one or two indications that he was radical, instead he gave loads of clues that he was a person who not only should not have been given access to sensitive terrorism information but who also exhibited worrying Islamist signs such as dressing like a conservative Muslim and refusing to engage in work related activities with women. From what I can gather about this case, Harpon could not be more obviously dodgy unless he wore an ‘I love Osama Bin Laden’ tee shirt to work. Even then I’m not sure that the French police would have managed to spot his radicalisation and desire to commit treason.

It looks very plain to me that the French police and security services have been horribly and deeply compromised. These agencies have been compromised not just by Islamic savages propelled by the Koran to kill, but also by a culture of political correctness that seems to have prevented early action being taken against this savage, action that could have prevented the death of four police officers and workers.

One big question that needs to be asked in the aftermath of the Paris police atrocity is whether France and France alone is afflicted by the sort of organisational and vetting failures that allowed Harpon to go on his murderous knife rampage? Is it possible that other European and Western nations have similar Islamic savages hiding in plain sight in counterterror sections and taking advantage of politically correct nostrums about ‘equality’ and ‘religious freedom’? If this is the case then there is the strong possibility that maybe Germany’s GSG 9 der Bundespolizei and Britain’s SO15 Counter Terror Command, may also have been similarly penetrated. The political and cultural malaise that lies behind this French atrocity may also be afflicting other countries.

Unfortunately we will not find out whether this is the case until one of these infiltrators goes ‘full Islam’ and kills fellow officers or is caught passing information to Islamic terrorists. There needs to be a full and harsh clear out of any counter terror officer in any Western nation who holds the slightest link to extremist Islam. Failure to do this will just invite further terrorist incidents such as that which have been suffered by the French police.

I’m still waiting to hear why French police sat outside the Bataclan night-club doing nothing while 130 people were savagely tortured to death a few yards away ? What were they up to – standing there with their fingers in their ears complaining about how upsetting it was listening to the screaming ?

(I kid you not – this was the reaction of French guests at a hotel as the Gestapo interrogated a captured British agent – the manager went to complain and asked if she could make less noise while being tortured….)
