The writer Hugh Fitzgerald has put out a brilliant two part article on the recent attempt by the ‘Islamophobia’ charlatans of the Tell Mama group to smear and deplatform the Islam-criticial Peer, Lord Pearson of Rannoch. In the first part of the article, Mr Fitzgerald, writing at Jihad Watch, speaks of how Tell Mama activists went into an overdrive of censorious outrage about Lord Pearson’s comments on a TV news show about Muslim demographics.
According to Mr Fitzgerald, Lord Pearson had, on the programme, expressed concern about the rapid growth of the Islamic demographic in the UK and its potential negative effects. The response to this from the pro-Islam charlatans of the Tell Mama group was to try to obfuscate, falsely cry ‘Islamophobia’ and try to smear Lord Pearson by saying that he had misused census data.
I have read the linked article from the TM site which Mr Fitzgerald pointed to and in which TM engaged in a rant about Lord Pearson. Although the TM article is not bylined and I can’t ascertain which of the various ‘Wormtongues’ who work for Tell Mama wrote it, this smear article is very much of their usual style. It’s a combination of whining about mostly non-existent ‘Islamophobia’ and calling for yet more censorship of discussion of Islam and the more troubling aspects of this ideology.
Here is Part One of Mr Fitzgerald’s article:

The second part of Mr Fitzgerald’s article is a continuation of the first in that it expounds some more on Tell Mama’s attempt to smear Lord Pearson as a ‘racist’ and and ‘Islamophobe’. TM are even trying the guilt by associaton trick by criticising Lord Pearson and trying to negate Lord Pearson’s concerns about the growth of the Islamic demographic by saying that he associated with Tommy Robinson. So what say I. I really don’t care whether Lord Pearson met Mr Robinson or if he agrees or disagrees with his views. The use by Tell Mama of guilt by association really only shows us one thing and that is just how desperate they are to stop people discussing matters such as Islam and in particular Muslim women’s fertility rates.
To give a small excerpt from Mr Fitzgerald’s fabulous and much needed piece, here’s Mr Fitzgerald telling his readers that attempts that Tell Mama have made to smear Lord Pearson by saying his words encourage others to emulate the Christchurch shooter, are thoroughly dishonest. You can find the context for this excerpt in Part Two of the article by Mr Fitzgerald which you can find linked below:
https://www.jihadwatch.org/2019/11/uk-tell-mama-doesnt-like-lord-pearson-part-2
Tell Mama continues its attempt to demolish Lord Pearson for the primal sin of discussing Muslim and non-Muslim fertility rates:
Racist conspiracies about birth rates were behind the terroristic murders of 51 Muslims in Christchurch, which went on to inspire other forms of racist terror in Germany, the United States, Norway, and a sleepy English suburb.
What is Tell Mama trying to make us believe? It is this: because the lone Christchurch shooter, Benton Tarrant, was motivated by murderous anxiety over what he called “the Great Replacement,” that is, the replacement of whites by non-whites (and not just of non-Muslims by Muslims), that it somehow follows that no one, and certainly not the “racist” Lord Pearson, should even discuss the much higher fertility rates for Muslims than for non-Muslims in the U.K. and elsewhere in Europe? There is a mendacious attempt by Tell Mama to suggest that there is some kind of a direct link between the measured and thoughtful remarks of Lord Pearson about birth rates, and the mad manifesto of the mass murderer in Christchurch. Are we now, because of that mosque attack, never to speak again about what the colossal rise in the Muslim populations will mean for the indigenous non-Muslims of Europe? Will such talk turn us all into Benton-Tarrants, capable of mass murder?
Well said Mr Fitzgerald. TM are obviously playing the call for censorship card here and the question should be why would they be doing that? What possible benefit is there to be had by censoring discussions on Islamic demographics? It’s not a ‘far right lie’ as TM say it is that many of our towns and cities have been radically demographically changed by Islam, you can see this from statistics and by visiting some of these areas. If we cannot discuss these matters openly and fearlessly and not be smeared by Government funded (£1.9M at last count) Islam censors like Tell Mama, then it is a shocking indictment not just on the subject of freedom of speech but also the state of the nation.
