Today there isn’t any country, people or public celebration that is not at risk of attack from violent Muslim extremists. These savages kill at pop concerts, outside our Parliaments and at Christmas markets. Although the security forces of various nations work extremely hard to prevent such attacks, sometimes, as in the case of the Manchester Arena attack, these murderous Islamic terrorists slip through the net and engage in mass murder.

On other occasions the security forces are lucky and have good intelligence and are able to prevent the mass murder that these Islamic savages crave. A good example of how an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure comes from across the North Sea from Britain where the police in the Netherlands have managed to thwart a major attack that a group of Islamic savages were preparing to carry out over the Christmas period.

According to a report from a news outlet in the United Arab Emirates (h/t ROP) the Dutch security services have arrested a number of people whom they suspect of plotting a Christmas attack on Dutch territory and citizens. The report in an outlet called N World stated that the Dutch security services became aware that some Muslims were planning an ISIS inspired attack using explosives.

N World said:

Police in the Netherlands have arrested two men suspected of plotting a Christmas suicide bomb plot by ISIS.

Dutch prosecutors say the plot involved a terror attack using suicide vests and one or more car bombs.

The National Prosecutor’s Office said the two men, aged 20 and 34, were arrested by anti-terror squads on Monday.

The men are suspected of plotting an attack around the end of the year, though the exact target is not clear.

Prosecutors said on Tuesday that police who arrested the men and searched their homes found no explosives or firearms.

An axe and a dagger were found concealed above the ceiling in one of the men’s homes in the town of Zoetermeer, about 10 kilometers east of The Hague.

A mobile phone and several SIM cards were also discovered.

Undercover police had been monitoring the men after they became known to the homeland intelligence service AIVD.

Both suspects were interviewed on Tuesday and are due to appear at court in Rotterdam on Thursday.

It appears to be the case that the Dutch people have, by the swift and effective actions of the security services, had a lucky escape from what looks to me like a potential mass casualty attack. It also seems that the Dutch security services may have stopped this attack in its early stages before these savages had acquired weapons or explosives.

Whilst it is correct that we and especially the Dutch can breath a collective sigh of relief that this attack has been stopped before it could occur, we should not be complacent. This is just one plot among many that have been or are being hatched by violent Muslims on the continent of Europe and most notably in Western Europe. We should not forget that as one group of violent Islamic plotters is taken down, there is more than likely to be others ready and willing to take their place. Islamic terrorism is like a Hydra, as soon as one head is chopped off another head rises in order to strike. Europe is home not just to many peaceful Muslims but also to hundreds if not thousands of Muslims who are not peaceful and whose primary desire is to shed the blood of non-Muslims in the name of their bloodthirsty deity Allah.
