There has been a terror attack on London Bridge again. One maybe two people have been killed and a suspected terror attacker has been taken into custody by the Metropolitan Police.

Information is still in flux but the police state that they were called to a stabbing incident at a premises near London Bridge at 13:58GMT. The counter terror police have been called in and officers have been drafted in from forces neighbouring to London to fill in any gaps in armed police coverage that this incident has caused by diverting armed officers to it.

Brave members of the public tackled the terrorist knifeman until armed police arrived. Social media reports state that the assailant may have been wearing what could have been a suicide vest. The attacker was shot by the police but not killed as far as I can make out.

The location, the manner of the attack and from what I could see of the nature of the attacker leads me to believe that this could be yet another Islamic terror attack on the capital city. Of course there is the possibility that this could be gang related but at the moment I’d say that it’s 50/50 Islamic related.
