Now That’s Why Pakistan Is A S***hole – Volume 122 – Even the truth offends them

Islam is an ideology built on violence and lies. Its theology commands violence to those that wish to leave Islam or to those who question the shaky foundations on which Islam the ideology is built. A Muslim is not allowed to question the character of Mohammed nor are they allowed to look into the origin of the purloined and bastardised stories from other faiths that have been twisted to fit the narrative of Mohammedism. The violence in Islam and in the name of Islam, protects the various lies that have been told about Islam, its origins and its ‘prophet’. Islam doesn’t like the truth.

It seems that some in countries that are run by Islam, such as in this case Pakistan, don’t like the truth either. According to a report on NDTV from India (h/t ROP), a mob of Pakistanis tried to storm the offices of the Dawn newsaper because they said that the recent London Bridge attacker was of Pakistani origin. Other newspapers, probably self censoring as they had one eye on the mob, didn’t say ‘Pakistani origin’ they just said that he was ‘British’ with no connnection to Pakistan.

Because the Dawn newspaper told the truth about the origins of the London Bridge attacker, this raised the ire of a mob who blocked access to the newspaper’s building effectively holding the journalists hostage. This wasn’t a big mob as Pakistani mobs go, it was a few dozen people but this one could have contained those with murderous intent, bearing in mind the violent nature of both Pakistan and its guiding ideology Islam.

NDTV said

The angry mob, carrying banners and chanting slogans against the newspaper, remained outside the office building for nearly three hours, besieging the premises and making the staffers hostage, the report said.

They prevented the employees from entering or leaving the building and demanded a written apology. Some of the protesters also misbehaved with the newspaper as well as Dawn TV employees when they arrived at the office.

Security guards at the media house had to lock the gates to prevent the protesters from entering the premises before police and officers of the capital administration arrived.

This must have been a frightening three hour period for the journalists and other newspaper staff. They were unable to leave for fear of the violence that might be meted out by the mob and the problem of having to wait for police who seem to have behaved in an exceedingly tardy way with their response.

Some may try to excuse this mob as being a nationalist one, and I can’t deny that there are nationalist elements to it, but in Pakistan it’s often quite difficult to separate a politcal motive from a religious one. Pakistan is not a naton where religion and state are all that separated.

The truth doesn’t just hurt in Pakistan, it enrages mobs. This is very similar to the violent mobs that turn out whenever someone asks awkward questions in Pakistan about Islam or defies Islam’s precepts. It’s notable that none of those who made up this mob attacked those newspapers that lied by ommission about the London Bridge attacker. Those who avoided the truth avoided violence. The mob only went after the newspaper that told the truth and that should tell us a whole oot of what we need to know about both Pakistan and the cultures created by Islam.
