Britain has a number of Islam-related problems and this is something that only a Leftist ideologue or someone making excuses for Islam would deny. Hundreds of Britons have been killed by Muslims both at home and abroad in various terror attacks, on beaches, public transport or on the street. Our national celebrations whether they be religious ones such as Christmas or more secular ones such as the Trooping of the Colour, increasingly need to be held behind security barriers due to the fear of Islamic attack and approximately one British girl every hour over the last year has become the victim of child sexual exploitation, too often at the hands of Muslims.
Our prisons in particular have become hotbeds of Islamic extremism and in these prisons, according to 2015 figures, 15.4% of the then approximately 80,000 prisoners are Muslim compared to 0.5%, 0.9% and 0.5% for Hindus, Sikhs and Jews respectively. It’s plain to see that Muslims commit more crimes that warrant imprisonment than any other religious grouping and this large number of Muslim prisoners represents a dire threat not just to the security of prison staff and the good order of prisons, but also to the wider public.
These Muslims, in particular those imprisoned for non-terrorist offences, can end up getting radicalised by other incarcerated Muslims and may well end up committing terror offences when released from their non-terrorism related gaol sentences. There is also the issue of Muslims forcing Islamic conversion on other non-Muslim prisoners especially those who may be vulnerable because of mental health issues. Some non-Muslims convert to Islam because Islam is the biggest ‘gang ‘ in some prisons and they may see that membership of this particular gang may bring them some form of security whilst incarcerated.
The recent incidents at HMP Whitemoor in Cambridgeshire where Muslim prisoners donned fake suicide vests and carrying improvised bladed weapon,s attacked prison staff and illustrate just how bad the problems of jihadist activity in Britain’s prisons have become. The riot by Muslims at Whitemoor has been described as ‘brutal and bloody’ by staff at the prison and by the Prison Service.
According to press reports, some of those involved in the riot at Whitemoor were Muslims who were incarcerated for terrorist offences including one Islamic savage who was gaoled for plotting to behead a British soldier and who idolised the Muslim murderers of Fusileer Lee Rigby. These are not nice people or even run of the mill criminals, these are inhuman savages of the worst kind.
The vast majority of them, like any other sort of committed ideologue, cannot be reformed. Also, as we saw with the Islamic savage who carried out the second London Bridge terror attack, we can never be completely sure that those jihadists who claim to be reformed really are. Too many of these Jihadist prisoners are all too likely to give the impression that they have given up on jihad whilst in reality are merely biding their time or trying to facilitate their release so that they can carry out another violent Islam-inspired atrocity. There is I believe, based on my experience as a former court reporter, more chance of reforming a lower level opportunistic paedophile or a robber than there is of reforming a jihadist.
I believe that in prisons like HMP Whitemoor, the policy is that prisoners are allowed to follow and express religious beliefs. Now this is not normally a problem when the religious path is anything other than Islam, I have met over the years many people who have been saved from further criminality by contact with Christian and Jewish chaplains whilst gaoled, but allowing Muslims the same rights does not end up producing reformed characters in the same way. These Muslim prisoners are liable to end up far worse through following Islam in prison than would be the case with those of other more peaceful faiths. Religious gatherings of Muslims in prisons are used to plot attacks on prison staff and on non-Muslim prisoners and some of those who act as Islamic chaplains in prisons are less than savoury individuals themselves. If the NHS can end up hiring a former Banglaedshi war criminal as a senior chaplain then we must assume that similar wrong’uns are being used as Islamic chaplains in our prisons.
I am strongly of the opinion that it’s time to play hardball with Britain’s Islamic prisoners. Not only should there be no accommodation of Islamic religious beliefs and practices along with the restriction of Islamic chaplains in prisons, but there should also be strict segregation of Muslim terrorist prisoners from the general population. If we cannot execute these murderous savages, as I and others believe should happen in cases where these Muslims have killed people, then they should be held in separate ‘supermax’ style prisons where contact with other prisoners is limited. All opportunities for these terrorist prisoners to organise and put staff and other prisoners in danger needs to be removed and that can be best done by solitary confinement and limiting the abilities of these terrorist prisoners to gather around them a gang of like-minded and equally dangerous individuals.
Because the border between the ordinary Islamic criminal and the jihadist criminal is often blurred and indistinct, it may well be the case, as I suggested in a previous article on here, that separate prisons for Muslims are created. These Muslim only prisons should also internally segregate terror prisoners from ordinary Muslim prisoners in order to reduce the danger of these Muslims being infected with jihadism by the extremists.
We should never again see a situation, as happened at Whitemoor, where psychotic and dangerous Muslims attack prison staff whilst shouting out the Islamic war cry of ‘Allah hu Akbar’. However to get to that stage where this is less of a potential or actual problem, the prison authorities and the government need to be much more realistic about the danger posed to staff and other prisoners by the presence of these dangerous savages in the general prison population. The authorities and in particular the prison authorities also need to be more realistic about the nature of Islam itself and not treat it as ‘just another religion’. To carry on with this naive attitude will just create more incidents like that which we’ve seen at Whitemoor. HMP Whitemoor has been allowed to become a cesspit of jihadism and that is something that needs to be dealt with with the utmost urgency.
Are Sunni & Shi’a Muslims forced together in prisons? Hopefully not, as, along with the most extreme sects (Wahhabi & Salafist), that could worsen the violence.
But if they’re not British citizens, they should be deported after serving their (full) sentences. And their countries of origin should be paying for their stays at Her Majesty’s pleasure – perhaps deduct the full costs from our disgraceful & badly-targeted foreign “aid” budgets?
It wouldn’t surprise me if both types of savages sunni and shia are housed together. I certainly agree that deportation should be mandatory for those with dual nationality or who are not British citizens. I also agree that money should be taken from the foreign aid budget to compensate for the £50k a year it costs to house each prisoner.
