Sometimes I come across stories for this strand that almost defy explanation, they certainly defy description in a lot of cases, after all, how would you describe the sort of awful and terrible things that go on in South Asias’ nuclear tipped insane asylum? Pakistan is one of those places that give me stories that, like the one below, almost leave me lost for words.

There are a number of articles that I’ve written about the shithole that Islam has created in Pakistan and they show a nation and a country mired in misogyny, child abuse, hatred of religious minorities, corruption and cultural retardation, all brought in whole or in part by the ideology of Islam. Pakistan has gone since 1947 from a rather restive but relatively well run part of Britain’s Indian Empire, into a basket case. Pakistan has become Bedlam with borders.

The latest bit of moral depravity that has come to my attention from Pakistan where a grave digger is being sought by the police for corpse raping. According to report in an Indian news source, the body of an elderly woman was disinterred and sexually violated in a town near to Karachi.

The source, OP India, said:

In a barbaric incident in Pakistan, a group of unidentified men dug up the grave of a woman in a graveyard in Karachi’s Landhi Town area and raped the dead body.

According to the reports, the shocking incident came to light after the family of the deceased were informed that men had dug up the grave of the woman and raped the body, who was buried just a day earlier. As the family members were alerted of this heinous crime, a large number of them, including the neighbours reached the Ismail Goth graveyard.

However, the deceased’s family said that they did not wish to file any cases regarding the horrible incident. The family further said the undertaker responsible for the maintenance and upkeep in the graveyard told them that a dog had removed the slab from the freshly-made grave.

The family didn’t believe that a dog could dig up the grave and police were called. During the investigation it was noticed that the grave digger was missing. The grave digger is suspected of being involved in this incident of corpse raping and is currently being sought by Pakistani police.

This sick and troubling incident from a sick and troubling nation is apparently not the only case of corpse raping that has occurred in Pakistan. According to OP India there have been other instances.

In 2011, a gravekeeper named Muhammad Rizwan from North Nazimabad, Karachi was arrested for necrophilia. He was arrested after he confessed to raping 48 female corpses. Rizwan was caught running away after desecrating a corpse. He had caught the attention of nearby grave diggers and some other people.

Knowing just what a pit of moral depravity has been created in Pakistan I doubt that these two incidents are the only ones of this type. In a country where women are hideously unsafe in life, it would be naive to think that women are in any way safe in death. We in the West should no longer look at Pakistan as being a nation, but instead should look at it is a cautionary tale of what happens when the worst types of Islam end up controlling a country. Pakistan is a fountain of moral sickness but it is a fate that Pakistanis could have avoided had they kept Islam out of the public and political spheres and instead created a secular state in the areas of the Indian sub-continent that now comprise Pakistan.
