The news from the benighted Islamic craphole that is Pakistan is often really bad. The blog’s ‘Now That’s Why Pakistan Is A Shithole’ strand carries multiple stories (over 100 so far) of how Islam has created in Pakistan a living nightmare for women, children, religious minorities, heterodox Muslims and athiests among others.
However, there does occasionally come out of Pakistan some news that could best be described as a ‘Curate’s Egg’, something that is bad but ‘good in parts’.
First the good news. A Christian girl who was abducted, beaten, gang raped and forcibly and fraudulently converted to Islam and married to a Muslim man, has been rescued and returned to her family. According to a report on the Christian Today website (h/t ROP), this family, with the aid of an NGO, was able to fight back against a forced conversion phenomena that is decimating Pakistani Christian families.
This family went to the Pakistani police and then to the courts who investigated the abduction and instructed the police to rescue her. She’s back with her family but like so many other Christian or other religious minority girls who are abucted and forcibily converted, she has been through a truly horrific experience.
Christian Today said:
The Centre for Legal Aid, Assistance and Settlement (CLAAS) said Sneha, 14, was abducted on January 14 by a man named only as Zeeshan after she refused his proposal.
She reported that six other men took part in the abduction as she was making her way home from school, and that she was taken to an unknown location where she was gang raped and beaten.
She was then made to sign blank pieces of paper which were later used to produce a marriage certificate and certificate of conversion, CLAAS said.
After her family reported her missing, a court ordered an investigation and she was rescued five days later by the police.
Unfortuantely for other families, the news is not so good and the reason why their news is bad is that in another abduction and forced conversion and marriage case, Islamic Sharia Law has been applied. The outcome of this is that a 14 year old girl has been left with the Muslim man who ‘married’ her and who is both her gaoler and abuser.
Christian Today added:
Aid to the Church in Need is supporting another victim, 14-year-old Huma Younus, who was taken from her home on October 10, 2019, and married to a Muslim man.
The court in Sindh deemed the marriage valid under Sharia law because Huma has already had her first menstrual cycle.
Huma’s parents, Younus and Nagheena Masih, have pleaded with the international community for help, fearing that her case will be repeatedly delayed until she turns 18.
Her parents have vowed to take her case to the Supreme Court of Pakistan.
If anyone wanted evidence of the sickness at the heart of Sharia Law then this judgement is really all that you need. This is not the law of justice it is the law of a bunch of Arabian desert thieves and vagabonds, the law of a death cult. A law based on the ‘morals’ of a desert brigand and a law that, unlike either Canon Law of Jewish Halacha, has not in any way reformed or taken into account later learning or even modified to cope with new situations by Islamic scholars. Sharia Law is as bestial as it was when it was first codified and as brutal as the founder of the ideology that it governs.
The family of Huma have a long and difficult fight. The court system, which was left to them on Independence by the British and although imperfect did at least aspire to the ideal of justice, has been thoroughly corrupted by Sharia Law. There can be no justice as we in nations whose legal systems are based on Judeo-Christian roots, would recognise it in Pakistan. I’m glad that this second family have the support of a Christian NGO as it is more than likely that Islamic interests in Pakistan will do everything they possibly can to prevent real justice happening in this case.
