Nearly every nation or people or group that exists in the world today has some sort of leadership structure. Sometimes these leaders lead properly or the leadership system works well and the people that are being led prosper, are kept secure and have their views and interests represented. This would be an example of good and sound leadership. However on many other occasions leaders fail or are corrupt or follow paths that are inimical to the interests of the people that being led or governed.
Unfortunately for British Jews, we are not being led by communal leaders who have at heart the interests of Jewish individuals in Britain. The attitude that Jewish communal leaders have taken with regards Islam is one that will ultimately endanger the safety and security of British Jews. The British Jewish leadership which mostly comprises of the Board of Deputies of British Jews (BOD), a representative body made up of delegates from different Jewish movements and synagogues and the security organisation, the Community Security Trust, which provides guards for synagogues, are making a shed-load of bad decisions.
Chief among those bad decisions is for the leadership of both organisations to scream loudly about the ‘threat’ to the community from the ‘far right’. This is a monstrously stupid decision to take when the main threat to the safety and security of British Jews comes not from a few basement dwelling jackboot lickers, but from the far more numerous, violent and much more motivated Jew haters from the Islamic community.
Whilst I readily accept that some far rightists are indeed neo-Nazis and an even smaller number than that may be violent or deranged enough to harm British Jews, it’s not because of these small number of crazy people that we need to cover our religious schools in barbed wire and have guards on our children’s birthday parties, but because of the followers of Islam. This is because it is from Islam, a violent, racialist, supremacist ideology that some seriously deranged Jew haters are spawned. Not a day seems to go by when I look at the Islamic world as represented online and don’t see some Muslim cleric banging on about Jews and why Muslims should hate us. The Islamic world, possibly due to its supremacist and fascistic nature, blames Jews for failiues in Islamic societies, despite the blame and cause for these failures being readily identifiable in Islamic culture and theology. Pakistan for example is a hotbed of ‘Jewish conspiracy stories’ that the populace use to explain why the country is such a shithole, yet the main real cause for Pakistan’s dire condition is the Islamic ideology that has run the country for many decades.
Those who presume to lead Britain’s Jewish communities have, in my opinion, failed to comprehend the threat to British Jews from Islam and its followers. This opinion that the BOD and the CST have failed to protect British Jews from a clear and present threat instead of a less serious threat is one that also appears to be shared by another blogger, Edgar1981, whom I have featured on this blog before.
In a brilliant piece entitled ‘Stephen Pollard Is An Idiot’, Edgar takes aim at the editor of the Jewish communities ‘newspaper or record’ the Jewish Chronicle for his and others failure to treat Islam, the more dangerous enemy of Jews, with the same level of attention that it gives to a much lesser threat, the far right. Edgar, quite rightly in my opinion, lambasts the British Jewish leadership for going after a far right bogeyman at a time when support for the anti-Semitic far right is very low in comparison to the sort of Jew hatred that we see coming from the Islamic community. I’ll put a short excerpt of Edgar’s piece on how Britain’s Jews are led below but I would strongly advise you to read not just the rest of that piece but the rest of Edgar’s work as it may be an eyeopener for some to see just how poorly a community can be led at a time of threat.

Pollard is part of the elitist clique who think they know what’s best for British Jews (and he’s by no means the worst). We have seen with the recent decision by the Jewish ‘leadership’ to demonize and silence Colonel Richard Kemp and Melanie Phillips (see articles by Jonathan Hoffman and David Collier about this), that they will not tolerate anybody who dares raise concerns about Islamic antisemitism and terrorism.
They have bought into the whole “Islamophobia” narrative in an attempt to appease people like Baroness Warsi (who claims to oppose antisemitism while being a vicious enemy of the Jewish state, whipping up antisemitic hatred of it among British Muslims). What started with the demonization of Tommy Robinson, Geert Wilders, Pamela Geller and Robert Spencer (all true friends of Israel and the Jewish people) and then Katie Hopkins and Douglas Murray, was never going to end with just them. Now they seek to silence anybody on the ‘right’ of politics who raises these concerns and even accuse anybody who supports them of being ‘racists’. So, while many of the Jewish community’s best friends are shunned by the Jewish leadership, that same leadership is happy to work with (and even invite to communal events): Israel-hating agitators like Warsi, antisemitic anti-Israel leftist Muslims like Naz Shah, and any number of left-wing politicians and activists who supported both Corbyn and the boycott campaign against Israel.
Damned well said there Edgar. Like so many other organisations whether they be religious or secular, communal or national, the leadership positions of organisations that are supposed to serve all of Britain’s Jewish communities, have been taken over to a greater or lesser degree, by Leftists. As Edgar said, even Leftists who support Jeremy ‘The Terrorists Friend’ Corbyn are not persona non grata in Jewish leadership circles. This is something that both British Jews themselves and those non-Jews who support us should be getting angry about. They are throwing people from the Right under the Islamic bus whilst feting and fawning over some really appalling Leftists some of whom have equally appalling views and associations. These virtue signalling elitists don’t represent me and I don’t think that they represent other British Jews of the political Right or Centre Right either. It’s time that the British Jewish leadership was replaced by those who might do somewhat of a better job at fighting today’s battles against Jew haters rather than as the BOD and CST are doing, fighting yesterdays now mostly vanquished foe.
