Sanity can be a rare enough commodity in general, but it is even rarer in those nations and cultures which are run and guided by the ravings of a seventh century madman. I’m thinking in particular of Iran, which although it is suffering greatly from the outbreak of Chinese Covid19, is still producing lunatics who would refuse any treatment or vaccine for this disease should this life saving treatment come from the State of Israel.

According to an article on the New English Review site, a reporter from the Iranian state propaganda station Press TV said that he would refuse any Chinese Covid19 vaccine should it come from an Israeli source. Surely this must be an example of the sort of gross stupidity that not only exists in the Islamic world per se, but also an example of the sort of stupidity that has seen Iran’s official death toll from Covid19 reach nearly 2000. However, Foreign Policy magazine has claimed that this official death toll, which is bad enough, may be five times less than the actual death toll. Iran could, if the claims are true, be looking at 25,000 dead so far from Chinese Covid19.

Such a calamity could have been either avoided or to a large extent mitigated had not the Iranian government had not made such a piss poor response to Covid19. They failed to stop mass contact with China including travel, they failed to isolate any of the 700 Chinese clerical students who were in the religious city of Qom and worst of all in my view failed to tell their population about Covid19 until it was far too late and the disease had spread widely.

The Iranian government has failed to protect its own people from this disease and its response to the Chinese Covid19 emergency has been patchy at best and reckless at worst. It is only in very recent days that the Iranian government has done anything to restrict movement and encourage social distancing and therefore the spread of the virus, something that in Iran’s case should have been done in late February at least.

A journalist for the Tehran regime’s official English-language mouthpiece was widely mocked online on Thursday after he said he would prefer getting the coronavirus over using an Israeli-produced preventative shot.

Roshan Salih — of Press TV — tweeted a Haaretz article about an expected announcement by an Israeli research center that it had developed a vaccine for the disease currently spreading around the world with the comment, “I’d rather take my chances with the virus than consume an Israeli vaccine.”

No one would be surprised – would you? – if the first successful vaccine against the coronavirus turned out to have been developed by an Israeli research center. Tiny Israel punches far above its weight in so many different areas – in waste-water recycling and irrigation, in cyber security and drone technology, in new drugs and novel therapies, in heart and cancer treatments, in technological advances of every kind, that what comes out of these Israeli research centers no longer surprises us. Even now, before the definitive announcement of such a coronavirus vaccine coming out of Israel, we have come to expect such achievements from the Start-Up Nation.

This is an excellent piece from Mr Hugh Fitzgerald at the New English Review. He’s correct, Israel is a world leading centre for medical technology and if a vaccine for Chinese Covid19 is to come about, it is more than likely to be created either by Israel itself or by utillising some part of Israeli technology or knowledge.

Mr Fitzgerald is also correct in stating that this is a prime example of the sort of demented Israel and Jew hatred that exists in the Islamic world. This Jew hatred has indeed demented the Islamic world to such an extent that to some, too many, Muslims the answer to every negative question is ‘the Jews’. ‘Jews’ are even blamed for the Islamic world’s failures, even failures that have at their root cause the cultures and mores of Islam. It’s a case of: cousin marriage child born disabled – blame the Jews, live in a backward retarded society – blame the Jews, poverty -Jews etc etc. Some Muslims for example in Pakistan (where else), are so completely mentally gone that they’d rather have their child die or become crippled from Polio than accept a vaccine that might have been handled or developed by a Jew.

Some may be surprised or shocked by Roshan Salih’s view that he would take his chances with the Chinese Covid19 rather than take an Israeli medicine to either prevent or cure it. I’m not that shocked I’m afraid, because I know it ‘s just par for the course for the Islamic world. Whilst I accept that not every Muslim thinks like this I also accept that it is a much more common way of thinking in the Islamic world than outside of it. There are Muslims, not just Salih, who are so consumed by the baseless hatreds that their ideology imparts, who would willingly die because of stupidity rather than step outside of their hate-filled ideology to accept a medicine developed by Jews. That is a level of fanaticism that cannot be debated with, or accommodated, or appeased, it is a type of fanaticism that should instead be guarded against and countered. I feel desperately sorry for the Iranian people, they are not all fanatics like Salih, vast numbers of them are oppressed by the Iranian government and they have been led into disaster by a government that in large part created it. The Iranians are slaves led by cruel masters and fools and I hope and pray that one day, when this emergency is over, the Iranian people will be free.

My closing message to Salih and those like him who vow to refuse an Israel developed cure or preventative for Chinese Covid19 is this:  Go  on I dare you.  Refuse the life saving Israeli medical treatment.  If he dies by his own hand for refusing the medicine then I doubt that the world will have lost that much would it?
