I’ve seen a shocking and terrible report about religious discrimination taking place in, yes you guessed it, Pakistan. According to The Times of India, members of Pakistan’s religious minorities which include Hindus, Sikhs and Christians, people who are generally discriminated against by Pakistani government and society, are being denied food aid by the Pakistani Government.
The Times of India said:
The World is united in fighting against the Covid19 pandemic but for Pakistan, religious discrimination remains a top priority amidst this global crisis. The country’s Hindu and Christian minorities are not being given food supplies by the authorities, saying that they are only meant for the Muslims.
This sort of conduct is I’m afraid par for the course when it comes to Pakistan. This Islamic craphole of a nation has a long and ignominious record for discriminating against religious minorities with regards to legal rights and in employment. Pakistan’s religious minorities get the worst deal when it comes to the legal system as the many kidnaps of underage Christian girls and their forced conversions to Islam attest. Members of religious minorities also end up getting the worst and most dangerous jobs in Pakistan and the jobs with the worst pay.
Pakistan systematically discriminates against non-Muslims in every way that they can but it is particularly shocking that Pakistan is doing this at the height of a worldwide health emergency. Shouldn’t a time like this be one where nations like Pakistan put aside their discriminatory practices and just help those who need help, regardless of faith?
Pakistan and the way that this Islamic craphole of a nation behaves gives a lot of truth to the old meme that says: ‘In every country where Islam is in a minority, Muslims whine about minority rights, but in every country where Islam is in a majority, minority rights just do not exist’. The behaviour of Pakistan and indeed many similar Islamic majority countries should make us in more civilised lands much more wary of supporting, even unwittingly, Islamic charities, Islamic causes and Islamic nations. This is because to do so would legitimise the sort of outrageously discriminatory behaviour that can be seen in Pakistan and elsewhere.
