Despite the removal of factors that made the death toll at Ramadan horrific in recent years, such as the Syrian Civil War and the rise of ISIS and the current pandemic issues, the woefully misnamed ‘religion of peace’ continues to clock up a death toll that is unheard of in other major modern monotheistic religions.

So far this Ramadan, day nine of a twenty-eight day festival, 143 people have died due to religiously inspired violence across the world. That’s 143 people who have lost their lives violently to those who believe that Ramadan is an auspicious time to kill people for ‘Allah’.

Whether this Ramadan will reach last years figures of nine hundred or so remains to be seen. But, if the more violent followers of Islam have managed to kill nearly 150 only one third of the way through Ramadan 2020 continue the way that they are going then I suspect that this years deaths may at least go past 500 and may even end up higher than that.
