I’m a great admirer of the You Tuber, an ex Muslim who goes by the name of Apostate Prophet, for his forensic and knowlegable deconstruction of the ideology of Islam. In the video below he deals with the recent furore about comments made on the Ru Paul Drag Race show in the USA about Islam’s hostility to gay and trans people and their oppression in Islamic countries.

Other people have commented on this story but I feel that Apostate Prophet’s comments on it are some of the best. His detailed inside knowledge of Islam and Islamic scripture shows that Mr Goldblum did nothing at all wrong when he asked about Islam’s attitudes to gay and trans people.

This is a brilliant and thoughtful video and I’d advise everyone to watch it.
