Oh dear. It seems that the bosses of the ITV channel have failed to learn from the experiences of other entities that have climbed aboard the woke bandwagon. It appears that those in charge of the TV show Britain’s Got Talent have decided to go broke after getting woke.

The TV talent show format is through overexposure becoming tired and floppy. Allegations that the shows are rigged haven’t gone away and along with claims that the participants are set up for ridicule and exploitation by media moguls have tarnished the shows and people are starting to get bored with them. However, these shows are primarily for escapist entertainment and there should be no place in them for divisive politics, especially the divisive politics of the far Left.

ITV has made a major error by allowing the dance group Diversity to put on a BLM themed dance show complete with neck kneeling as part of a prime time family show. It appears to have turned off readers in droves and I wonder how many will return to watching the show after this incident? My guess is that the programme has lost a lot of goodwill due to this incident of virtue signalling and the viewers who have been put off by this blatant display of divisive Leftism will not return. After all why bother with a broadcast programme that pushes left wing guff when you could go online and watch some decent comedy and not be harangued by Leftists?
