This video from the Lesbian commentator Arielle Scarcella is well worth watching. In this video she interviews an Ex Muslim gay man about hatred of gays in Islam. Both Ms Scarcella and her interlocutor make the valid point about how life for sexual minorities in Islamic countries and Islamic communities is horrifically oppressive with some Islamic countries having the death penalty for homosexual activity. They also make the extremely important point that Western LGBT organisations that are very willing to get on their soap boxes about very minor problems for Western gay seem to be worryingly silent on the oppression of sexual minorities in the Islamic world and within Islam as a whole.
