When I heard the news that there was a horrific stabbing attack that has left two people seriously injured that took place near the former offices of the Charlie Hebdo magazine, my first thoughts were ‘this is a jihad attack’. The target, the city in which it occurred as well as what was revealed about one of the assailants all screamed ‘jihad’ to me.
It turns out that this is being treated as a terror attack by French police and this electronically translated piece from a French newspaper uploaded to the Parler platform by Mr Tommy Robinson tells us much of what we need to know.

What we do know is that the meat-cleaver wielding savage was a Pakistani who was, to nobody’s surprise, ‘known to the security forces’. Bearing n mind where this took place and the nature of the assailant, there can be little doubt that this is yet another jihad attack aimed at French citizens.
