I was reading the Conservative Woman site earlier today as I find that site both stimulating and informative even though I do not agree with all of ts opinions all the time. However in an article by Christine Brett about the cruelty of some school rules pertaining to covid and how many parents feel that they do not have a voice or the ability to stand up to schools, that are for example making children eat lunch outside in the rain, there was a link to an organisation called Us For Them.
Us for Them claim that they can help parents stand up to ludicrous school covid rules including those that relate to mask wearing that cause children both physical and psychological distress.
If you are a parent with a child at a school where a cruel ‘teachers first’ policy is being implemented then you may be feeling scared and frightened, not of covid, but of the school. You may live in an area where individual teachers, headteachers and local education authorities are being over the top with covid rules and even throwing safeguarding out of the window in order to do so, if so then Us For Them may well be of some help.
