I was reading an article about the attack yesterday in France on the Conservative Woman blog and one of the comments caught my eye. It’s from a person who works in a region of Russia that has a 25% Muslim population but surprisingly very few violent Islamic nutcases. The comment not only goes to show that there are Muslim heavy areas that are not mired in violence and extremism but also poses the question whether not the West got the best when it came to Muslim migrants or whether we were landed with the ‘village idiot’ Muslims?

IG! As you are aware I live in Ufa,Bashkiria.In Ufa around 25% of the population identify as Muslim,I have friends and employees who identify as Muslims.
They however do not wear burqas,hijabs and are almost indistinguishable from the rest of the population as they do not live in ghettoes and most importantly they are indigenous Bashkirs or Tatars and identify first and foremost as Russians.
The problem in the West is you have imported millions of backward,Third World village idiot Muslims and then expected to them leave their sh*thole lifestyles and customs behind them and to integrate into Western Society. You have more chance of teaching you dog to write Shakespearean plays or sing opera than get them to integrate or even make a reasonable contribution to society.
BTW we have a zero tolerance to Islamic Militants and the police have rocket propelled grenades to save them the problem of having to arrest them if they prove difficult.

This quote does indeed show that when Islam is tamed rather than merely pandered to as happens in places like the United Kingdom, it becomes something very different from the savagery that we have all become too used to.
