As well as being a place of hellish Islam-derived oppression for women and children, Pakistan is also woefully unsafe for religious minorities. Even heterogeneous Muslims are not immune to the violence that comes from Pakistan’s Sunni majority with those from the Ahmediyya sect of Islam often subjected to violence and oppression.
However it is the Christians who seem to bear a lot of the brunt of Muslim violence and oppression in Pakistan. They are subjected to everything from being banned from good jobs to false and lethal accusations of ‘blasphemy’ against Islam.
Another example of a Christian dying at the hands of Muslim extremists in Pakistan comes from a story in the Associated Press (h/t ROP).
The Associated Press said that a Christian journalist working for a local TV station was gunned down by unidentified assailants in the Dera Ismail Khan region of North West Pakistan.
AP said:
Police officer Aslam Khan said gunmen riding on a motorcycle opened fire on Qais Javed near his home after midnight and fled from the scene.
AP added that Mr Javed was a Christian and he may well have been targetted for religious reasons by Islamic militants that have a large presence in the region.
I’m not surprised that a Christian journalist met his death at the hands of extremist Islamic savages. These savages, sometimes with the apparent connivance of Pakistan’s local and national governments, seem to have free reign to act without any sanction.
And yet it all goes unreported by the MSM – who adopt sackcloth & ashes if anyone even says “Boo” to a follower of Islam.
