Britain is still faced with the problem of illegal invaders coming across the English Channel. Those who are coming are not genuine refugees or a sort that Britain has had in the past such as from Nazi Germany, the Iron Curtain countries, Idi Amin’s Uganda or the Balkans, those were people who were and are often very grateful for Britain taking them in. Instead what we are getting are little more than ponces and chancers, drawn to Britain by a generous welfare system, idiotic ‘refugees welcome’ types, the lack of national ID cards and the ability to disappear if necessary into foreign communities already resident in the UK.
These people are also very likely to be harmful to British society and to the British people. We have already seen now a ‘refugee’ who entered Britain illegally claiming to be a young person, ended up involved in Jihad and set off a bomb on a train in Parson’s Green in London. Thankfully on that occasion nobody died but there are plenty of other instances where those whom have entered Britain without permission and have been allowed to stay here, have turned out to be lethal. The most recent instance of that was the murder of three gay men in Reading last year by a failed asylum seeker who had come from Libya.
Those who come on these invader boats are often not grateful to Britain for rescue or housing. All we hear from them is demand after outrageous demand and when these demands are not met, they become violent. The Napier Barracks in Kent was the recent site of an arson attack by the migrants who felt that being housed in former army barracks was beneath their dignity.
The English Channel invaders are in the main not people that Britain either wants nor needs. They should have been kept out and in my view there should long ago have been a policy of hard interdiction used against them, even if in extremes it caused a loss of life among the invaders. Picking them up and bringing them to the UK is what these invaders want and it is something that should never have been given to them as all this policy does is encourage more and more to come.
The British people are suffering greatly at the moment. We are suffering mostly from the UK government’s woefully incompetent way of managing the coronavirus outbreak which has seen Britons locked down and the economy destroyed for at least the short and medium term. We are living in a clown world country where our pubs and churches are closed but our borders are still wide open. The Tweet below from a BBC reporter sums up just how bad things are and how porous our borders still are.
Simon Jones of the BBC said that 49 migrants (I prefer to call them invaders because that is what they are) managed to get to the UK and 92 were prevented by the French from reaching the UK.
What this number represents is 49 more potentially dangerous ponces who will whine and demand and commit acts of violence if they are not appeased. For all we know these people could be 49 potential jihad promoters or benefit thieves or individuals who the middle class Left will see are propelled to the top of the public housing queue ahead of Britons. What’s worse is we will probably be stuck with them as there is an army of left wing lawyers who not only hate Britain and love those that invade Britain but are also doing very well financially out of assisting the invaders to stay in the UK. Out of that 49 I doubt very much that even a quarter or even less will be removed from the UK. Continual challenges to deportation mean that some of these invaders will be stuck here for decades, claiming welfare, working in the black economy, committing crimes or even plotting and carrying out acts of jihad.
Many people voted for the Conservatives to defend Britain’s borders and deal with the serious and now obvious problems caused by mass and incompatible immigration. We who have done this have been seriously let down, again, by a party that promises much when it comes to immigration control but delivers very little.
It’s quite likely that some of the 49 who entered Britain illegally yesterday will end up on our streets and committing serious crimes. Fortunately for the politicians and the political class, it is ordinary Britons no matter what their skin colour who will be the victims of such crimes and not those in the political class. I doubt very much that there are many in the current House of Commons who could look the victims of illegal migrant crime in the face and honestly say that they did their utmost to stop the invaders entering and thereby stopping them from committing crimes.
There needs to be an end to the constant failure to defend Britain’s borders and it needs to be remembered that the Tories are not the ones to do that job as they’ve so consistently failed to do so not merely over many years, but over the course of decades. They failed during the Major years, they failed to stand up to Tony Blair and Gordon Brown’s Labour Party and its lust for mass migration, the Cameron government that followed it failed as have the May and Johnson governments. If we want our borders secured, illegals and foreign born criminals removed and an end to high levels of inappropriate immigration then we need to look beyond the Tories and to parties like for example Heritage and Reform who are less tainted by political correctness and cowardice than the Tories.
The reason why the majority of people in the UK voted for Brexit was because they wanted the government to stop these invaders coming to our shores. I know people that have been waiting years for housing just to be kept waiting longer due to the left demanding housing for foreign people and invaders. BLM and their supporters say Britain is a racist country yet too many times BAME people are given more and better things and services than natal Brits. I realized years ago there would be a build up in individuals supporting communism and this seems to be the way they are trying to achieve this goal.
Ì was taught from a young age that communism is not for the British spirit. You are completely controlled. Communism gives no hope or opportunity for people. Unfortunately those that want it have probably never lived through it nor understand the real restrictions of it and those with a bit of power that want communism, just seem to crave even more power over people. I think these people must be mentally ill.
We really must stop these economic migrants and invaders from coming here. The only way to do it is to change the laws from putting them and their needs first and to get the army patrolling the shores and as soon as they are picked up they should be taken straight back in the direction they came from.
If they can afford mobile phones, trendy clothes, thousands of pounds for a channel trip then they can afford to set up in private housing in the first country they get to rather than making a beeline for the UK and milking the money tree we have for them here.
You only have to look online to see how British people are angry on this subject.
Uncontrolled immigration is only one out of a great many reasons for wanting to be out of the EU. To me the thing about limiting the power of electric kettles represented a microcosm of the whole problem. Those who came up with the policy were never elected and cannot be removed from their position of power. They are also demonstrably unqualified to make any decisions related to kettles being obviously ignorant of basic physics, stuff that I knew about when I was still in primary school. The EU is run by clueless unelected imbeciles who are only interested in controlling your life and stuffing their own pockets, what’s not to hate?
Very true Stonyground. Though I think the British people weren’t swayed too hard by the issue of kettles. Each to their own I suppose. 😋
That wasn’t quite my point. I know that people don’t obsess too much about kettles specifically, but the kettle rule illustrates a much broader issue. These people want to influence every tiny detail of your life without your consent. You did not vote them into power and there is no way for you to vote them out. But more importantly they are too stupid to even have the faintest clue about what the consequences of their Ill informed policies will be. Kettles are just a really sound example of their utter stupidity. A kettle that is half as powerful takes twice as long to boil and uses the exact same amount of energy. Anyone who does not know that should not be in any position to be telling other people what kettle they should buy. It isn’t just about kettles, it’s about land drainage, forest management, energy supplies, you name it. These people interfere in everything and know absolutely nothing about any of it.
Yes the main problem with the EU was the inability of the electorate to remove those making decisions.
May I humbly suggest a moderation of language in posts like this, so as to offer fewer easy targets for right-on critics?
Thank you for the suggestion. I take your point about ‘hostages to fortune’ and I’m rarely sweary, but the intolerant ‘right on’ types will complain about anything no matter how it is phrased, if what is said runs against their narrative. A good example of that is the current campaign by the Stop Funding Hate group to pressure advertisers to not work with the new GB News channel. SFH and similar groups are desperate to silence any alternative to the BBC/Sky, which all too often do the bidding of left wing groups. GB News is unlikely to be ‘out there’ in either its views or output as it has been approved by Ofcom and therefore has to abide by Ofcom’s rules which are quite stringent, yet still the Left wants to shut it down or hamper it.
The Channel situation is really really bad, thousands of people who really should not be here and who have entered by illegal means are being housed, fed and paid for at taxpayer expense at a time when Britain is facing a massive economic and social tsunami of problems. I said several years ago when this problem of the Channel Invaders first started to occur that some form or hard interdiction using State force as a last resort would be needed to discourage these crossings, sadly I’ve been proven to be correct. Not only have they continued to come because they are supported by the government when they have arrived instead of turned back, but they have caused an immense amount of crime and disturbance in those areas where they have been settled. I’m somewhat sympathetic to those fleeing oppression as my wife’s late father fled from the Germans when they took Paris, but he took British citizenship in order to be called up into the British army as De Gaulle was only taking selected volunteers. Can you see these Channel crossing migrants doing the same, or will they just make more and more outrageous demands to be pandered to?
The 49 illegals are only the ones Border Farce provided a taxi service for as they want the free board & lodging
Many more, estimates are x2 to x4 are crossing and vanishing. Youtube’s Rev Simon’s Welsh friend has chronicled this as has ‘Patriot’
OT FYI
Agree that there are probably more illegals here who have not been caught. As for the BBC it has been consistently anti-Israeli and it is my belief that this comes from the fact that internally the BBC is dominated by the Left.

Re: Kettle Rule
Worse than kettles: pallets
A 40 ton lorry load of goods was refused entry to NI from Scotland by EU Customs, not HMRC, because one pallet was not an “EU Certified blue pallet” and may have contaminated the 40 tons
EU pallet x3 more expensive
Regulate pallets, why, dear God, why?
EU Customs staff: they were the ones msm referred to as being ‘threatened by graffiti’, not that they mentioned this
Last Monday EU ordered them to stay at home. HMRC then waved lorries through with no checks
The pallet issue is indeed an example of the micromanagement of every aspect of trade by the EU. I believe the pallets are regulated due to EU rules on the wood preservative used. BTW it’s also EU rules that has killed off or made prohibitively expensive a few of the chemicals needed for certain types of art photography printing. I used to work in that game and I was shocked to see just how many once commonly available chemicals that are safe to use with sensible precautions are either banned or now outrageously expensive.
Thanks for the info about the EU customs staff in Ulster. In the MSM the stories gave the distinct impression that it was HMRC staff who were ‘threatened’ by graffiti, not EU staff.

Thanks for that
Sorry, but the idea that an Identity State Slave Card would solve anything is completely bogus. The biggest problems we’ve had are bogus, very well forged EU ID cards. If as you’ve said you oppose the Covid Ausweiss “Passport”, how can you support turning us into tagged serfs just because our authorities are too lazy or indolent to intercept and deport these illegal hostile ungrateful interlopers.
I concede that you have a point there. EU identity cards are and have been forged and that the prime failure here has been by the government whohas failed to stop or remove those who should not be here. Also National Insurance numbers which should be a secure identification point have been compromised for years. I’ve never been in favour of any national ID card as I believe that the reasons that they were abandoned post war still stand. However, there appears to be conditions in the UK that make it easier than other places for illegal migrants to disappear into foreign origin communities that are already here. For example there is a large black economy and there has also been a woeful lack of checking, often by Left dominated medical trade unions, of residence status when it comes to accessing the NHS.
O/T re the BBC Balen Report, I have been hassling them and my MP to get to the bottom of this, for years. The BBC spent over £360,000 to get it “redefined” via a tame lefty judge, as “an internal journalistic report” and therefore not subject to FOIA. Another case of our supposed “national treasure” being a law into themselves, at our expense. Despite having reasonably influential journalistic contacts in the BBC, even they cannot get to see it, effectively buried. From what I can glean, is that it was pretty damning and that it’s likely that Malcolm Balen has been subjected to a gagging injunction, again, at our expense
The BBC’s conduct over the Balen Report has been both evasive and disgusting.
