There are some odd people in this world. A lot of people are odd and harmless and their delusions don’t really impact on the world, even though their delusions are to me pretty unhinged and awful, a category in which I’d class the UK Stalin Society which they say is an organisation dedicated to ‘refute the capitalist, revisionist, opportunist and Trotskyist propaganda directed against him.’ I’ve done some digging into this organisation and it is thankfully quite small but supported by some seriously hard core Tankies. The various Trot groups of course have had their headcases and personality cults, but I’ve often considered that the Stalin Society is probably the most dogmatic organisation and the most unwilling to countenance external information about their ideology. However the Stalin Society has no power or influence, something that cannot be said of other high profile political extremists.
I once thought that those behind the Stalin Society must be the most odd and historically and morally illiterate people on the Left, until I saw this guy on the Old Holborn Twitter feed.
I can understand admiring certain politicians and approving of their policies or their personal conduct, when this sort of thing is deserved and warranted. But going so far out there about Jeremy Corbyn looks more than a little barking. In fact I’d say he’s gone so far past Barking that he’s ended out in Upminster (sorry Tube line joke there).
A man with stuffed representations of a man of such extreme and out there views, which have been soundly rejected by the British people, does not strike me as the sort of person who should be in any position of authority over others – ever. If a person worships Corbyn in this extreme manner then I don’t want such a person having any power over others. This is because those who believe in such absurdities as Jeremy Corbyn as a messianic bringer of socialism, are also those who would readily commit atrocities in order to support their ‘leader’.
Hero worship is OK when the object of such affection is worth it and deserves such praise but Corbyn? Corbyn is a failed leader of the Labour Party and a person who has done so much to embed the more lunatic parts of the Left in the Labour Party and thereby undoing the work that previous Labour leaders such as Lord Neil Kinnock achieved by removing the extremists. Corbyn is also a man who seems to have a lot of friends among those who promote Islamic extremist causes and has been recorded as calling the Islamic terror groups Hamas and Hezbollah friends.
Corbyn is not a person worth abasing themselves over as this person has done. Such an over the top display of admiration to one of the least effective and morally screwed up politicians does make me wonder about this man’s sanity. After all, you don’t have to be mad to think that Jeremy Corbyn is worthy of admiration, but it probably goes a long way in helping.
Funny how they all look the same. Moon-face, glasses, wanker-bearded. Check out soy-face on google https://www.google.com/search?q=soy+face&client=ms-opera-mobile&sxsrf=ALeKk033n8EyhhdlpZsusrgb59BaCc14PA:1624292635588&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjL-7fMkanxAhUUa8AKHTnnAWwQ_AUoAXoECAEQAw&biw=1300&bih=2166
LOL ! Yes indeedy.
The comments that this guy is getting over on Twitter are hilarious. Of course there is the usual shout of ‘soy boy’ but also people mocking him as a basement dweller who lives with his mum, being the visual definition of a virgin, wondering whether he’s the sort of person who fears taking their laptop to be repaired and someone fearful of what this guy’s fabric Corbyn figure looks like under UV light.
I’ve encountered some of the lunatic ‘Jews for Jeremy’ lot online and even they are not as slavishly fixated on Corbyn like this guy is. I suspect that he suffers from some sort of mental condition as surely nobody who was wholly sane could be that into Corbyn?
Mind you, we had people who were ardent supporters of Napoleon, during the NAPOLEONIC WARS. Perhaps these Stalinist tossers could be made the subjects of a purge, for the extra realism.
Yes I was reading about that phenomenon over at Unherd the other day see https://unherd.com/2021/06/the-self-loathing-of-britains-elites/ The unherd article said that as was the case back in the time of Napoleon, the supporters of revolution and Stalinism were the wealthy educated Left not the working classes. As for the Stalinist tossers, I would not be surprised if they had already been purged from a great many leftist organisations because of their admiration for Stalin.
