It appears that Sadiq Khan the godawful Mayor of Greater London has decided to ignore all the multitude of problems that afflict his city and virtue signal dishonestly about climate change affecting London. On the Mayor of London’s Twitter feed he said that climate change was the reason why the Northern approach to Tower Bridge was flooded. Below is a screenshot of Sadiq Khan’s comment about flooding in London.

This claim has of course been shown to be utter bullshit. As many of those who commented underneath Khan’s Twitter comment said, Khan’s claim was baseless. Many people said, quite rightly, that the flooding caused on the approach to Tower Bridge was down to the anti-terrorism ‘diversity barriers’ that the Metropolitan Police had ordered to be installed which impeded the flow of water into the drainage system. Other correspondents pointed out that under Khan’s leadership of the Capital, vital work in unblocking roadside drains has been neglected compounding the problem of impeded run off facilities caused by the ‘diversity barriers’ that have been placed on London’s bridges to deter vehicular attacks by mostly Islamic terrorists.

Yet more correspondents to Khan’s Twitter claims were able to show that Tower Bridge is a long way above the River Thames and also the moat of the Tower of London. If this flooding on Tower Bridge was more than just localised flooding caused by the anti-terror barriers and blocked drains, then we would have expected to see both the Tower of London’s moat and the riverside sections of the District and Circle underground lines to also be affected. The truth is that they were not.

It is disgraceful that the Mayor of London has bullshitted like this. It’s even more disgraceful that he has chosen to do it when London, partly due to his policies, is an utter mess. Under Khan London’s Black community have never been more unsafe than they are today because neither Khan nor the Metropolitan Police for which Khan is the Police and Crime Commissioner, have got to grips with gang violence. The result of this mismanagement, the fault of which lies with both Khan and Cressida Dick the Met Commissioner, is that innocent teenage Black Londoners find themselves stabbed to death for merely entering the ‘wrong’ postcode area. Then there’s the Mayor’s woeful war on small businesses where the major weapon is the Ultra Low Emission Zone which according to my sources is killing businesses by the day. I know of businesses from the very small such as individual motor repairers to big supermarkets who are facing an almost fatal loss of trade because people from outside the ULEZ area are now reluctant to drive into the area because of the extra charges. After all who in their right mind would volunteer to pay extra money to get their car repaired or go shopping when they can avoid that charge by shopping elsewhere?

London has descended into a violent, small business hating shitheap under Sadiq Khan, something that many of us predicted would happen if he was re-elected because not enough voters bothered to get off of their arses to vote him out. The situation in London will continue to worsen unless there is some sort of credible political opposition to him. It’s typical of Khan that rather than deal with the multitude of problems that his policies have caused or exacerbated he instead chooses to virtue signal about climate change. However to virtue signal using a blatant dishonesty such as the image from Tower Bridge approach shows us that Khan is not just a run of the mill dishonest virtue signalling politician but incredibly arrogant with it.
