TRA’s using the police as a cudgel again.

The comedy writer Graham Linehan.

Anyone familiar with social media or the Harry The Owl case will know and understand that not only will the more extreme of the Trans Rights Activists run screaming to the police when their ideology is criticised or challenged, but also, sadly, the police will pander to the screaming TRA. There appear to be an increasing number of cases where Trans Rights Activists will make complaints to the police, not because they’ve been physically assaulted in any way, but because they are ‘offended’ that their ideology has been challenged, someone has put up a Suffragette ribbon or that their real identity as a man has been mentioned.

One of the latest individuals to be targeted by TRA’s using the police as a cudgel is the Father Ted writer Graham Linehan who as well as being one of Britain and Ireland’s most talented comedy writers is also deeply involved in the Gender Critical movement and committed to protecting women’s spaces from encroachment by transgender individuals who are intact biological males. Apparently he’s just had a police visit following a complaint by someone from Northern Ireland.

Here’s what Mr Linehan said:

I was asked by a very polite representative of my local force if I would go to the station to be interviewed by Northern Irish police. I told them no, and that I had been harassed by trans rights activists using the police not just once but twice before and that they could email me with any questions that they might have.

So what lunatic have I annoyed in Northern Ireland? Anyone have any suggestions?

This looks to me like the start of some more police and legal harassment of Mr Linehan by TRA’s. It’s worth following Mr Linehan’s Substack blog for updates on this case.

It is truly shameful that the police that we all pay for are acting as enforcers for the extremes of the trans rights activist movement. It is just one of the issues with our police forces that is making them less and less trusted by the general public.
