The Conservative MP for Ashfield Lee Anderson has done what many of us wished more politicians would do and which is to speak out about the epidemic of child grooming that is occurring in towns and cities up and down the country. Speaking in the context of allegations, both historical and more recent, being made about child grooming in Bradford, Mr Anderson called for a public enquiry into the Bradford situation similar to that carried out with regards the horrific child grooming that occurred in Rotherham. In addition to this call for an enquiry, Mr Anderson also the drew the attention of the House to ‘lazy’ local government politicians in the area who may not have done their best to curb grooming which is often in places like this carried out by gangs that are in the main made up of Muslims. He said that as well as the groomers needing to be locked up for their despicable crimes, the ‘lazy’ politicians should also be locked up as well.
You can watch Mr Anderson’s short but much needed Commons intervention via the Guido Fawkes link below.
It is noteworthy that during this discussion on what may turn out to be a massive problem with Islamic Rape Gangs in Bradford, none of the Labour MP’s who represent Bradford constituencies bothered to turn up. You would think wouldn’t you that with such a big issue being discussed and one that affects the areas that they represent, that the Labour members would want to be there in order to provide input to this discussion? I wonder why they did not appear?
Whilst it is right and proper to say that not every Muslim man is a rapist or a child abuser, we should not ignore the facts, confirmed following investigation after investigation, that on street grooming is carried out by gangs that contain an awful lot of Muslim men. These gangs do not confine their offending to their own communities, but instead go out of their way to target children and young women from outside their communities. There is quite obviously a racial and religious motive behind these gangs as well as a sexual and a power motive involved.
I’m somewhat disappointed that Mr Anderson did not mention the ‘M’ word, which I believe that he should have done. But it is quite possible that maybe he believes that if he did his then his vitally important words about the situation in the Bradford area would be drowned out by the usual suspects screaming ‘racism’ at him and therefore diverting attention away from his message. When other MP’s have brought this issue to the attention of the House and to the public they are treated as Ann Cryer was when she spoke about these issues many years ago.
However, despite that criticism, I applaud Mr Anderson for speaking up. There is a need for a public enquiry, one that leaves no stone unturned in its search for the truth about what looks like a major grooming and sexual abuse scandal, centred on Bradford, that is starting to properly break.
As a Bradfordian born and bred, there will never a public inquiry. Too many vested interests.
I left school in 1994 and everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, in my school knew which girls were being picked up at 3pm by cars full of Asian men…imagine unearthing how many girls have been abused before and since?
It’s a massive problem and one which the local authority may well have been complicit in. I certainly believe that there will be those in the local authority who will resist any calls for an enquiry just as Labour tried to worm out of responsibility in Rotherham. The Bradford scandal if or when it is uncovered is likely to be much bigger than Rotherham or Oxford or Telford. It’s very telling that the Labour MP’s who should have been in the Commons when this was discussed were not there.
Parading your woke credentials and being totally PC is the sure route to advancement and a bigger pay packet. Even the suggestion you might be a racist will crash your career in modern Britain and nobody in a position of authority is going to risk that. Anyway its the daughters of the white poor that are bring abused so why should the ruling class give a dam? Get your nose ever deeper into the trough is all that matters and the peasants can go to hell as long as they keep paying their taxes.
Agree there. It’s utterly and completely shameful to see this issue being obviously avoided by the Labour members or Bradford seats. It’s the victims of these rape gangs, often from the poorest parts of society who Labour should have been defending. Labour, the party that was set up to defend the rights of workers and of the working class are nowhere to be seen when working class girls are attacked by their now favoured demographic. Do we need anymore evidence that when the chips are down Labour will abandon the very people the party was set up to support?
There are about 30 Muslim councillors out of 90 in Bradford, of which 23-24 are Labour (out of 51).
In effect then, the governing party is controlled by Muslims and I doubt any of the rest would be prepared to stand up and say anything against Muslims for fear of being labelled and probably either deselected or ousted at the next election.
In addition there is the Islamic doctrine of “Sitr” (veiling) (see: https://www.faithfreedom.org/the-doctrine-of-sitr/ ) which means that the sins and crimes of Muslims are to be covered up by the Muslim community to avoid shame, this even applies when such crimes are against fellow Muslims up to and including child-rape (according to Islam Web).
When the sins and crimes are against the non-Muslims then there will be even less impulse to bring them to light due to the ‘sub-human’ view Islam takes of non-Muslims.
That is not to say that all Muslims would believe in this – I suspect many would be horrified – but that the more religiously observant would be influenced by this doctrine, so I am not surprised that the local (Labour) pollies are showing so much inertia on this issue, it may be that in their minds it is something that should be kept firmly swept under the prayer mat.
Let me also state that to object to their behaviour, which is no more than an “expression of Muslimness” is, of course, both racist and Islamophobic (APPG on Islamophobia).
I suspect that you might be on the right track. Whilst not in any way saying that all Muslim men are rapists or anything like that it is quite possible that certain Islamic interests in the region in question don’t want this problem dragged into the open and examined. If this particular cohort of the Islamic community also control to some extent the local Labour MP’s then is it any surprise that they are not present when this matter is brought up in the Commons.
