The trade unionist and Blue Labour type Paul Embery seems to talk a lot of sense and stuff that resonates with a lot of normal, by which I mean, non-hardcore Lefty, non-politically engaged or political anorak people. Also he appears to hold similar views to a lot of us which is that limited migration into the UK of decent people who are going to obey the law, fit in and ultimately be an asset to the nation, is not a problem. On the other hand unlimited immigration, from men of hostile cultural backgrounds who don’t want to fit in or contribute and just see Britain as a resource to be plundered, are something to be worried about.

Mr Embery spoke recently on the subject of immigration and said:

Personally I find Mr Embery’s comment difficult to disagree with. Nothing wrong with taking a small number of decent individuals who will truly and positively enrich the nation but hordes of single men of military age from cultures that are radically opposed to our own is wrong.
