I understand that the Mayor of Greater London Sadiq Khan (who is, to avoid confusion, not the same thing as the Lord Mayor of the City of London) is apparently on a trip to your country. He’s in the United States to try to encourage more visitors to come to London and sample the delights of the cackhole that he’s turned Britain’s capital city into.
What I’d like to ask my American friends is whether or not it is possible that you could keep Mr Khan for as long as humanly possible in order that London can recover from the disastrous policies that he has imposed on the capital. In my view the longer that this man stays away from the office of Mayor of Greater London the better it would be for my capital city and my nation.
I know it’s a big ask, to take charge of a man who said that terrorism is ‘part and parcel’ of living in a big city and who has presided over a time in office when street violence in London has grown to horrendous levels, but in order to benefit Londoners, Mr Khan is better off somewhere, anywhere, else apart from in City Hall. Of course I would not dream of asking that Mr Khan be accommodated in those parts of America that are suffering such as Baltimore or New York or anywhere that could conceivably be termed nice or even Nebraska which is a place that I would like to visit one day and where I would hate to accidentally run into Mr Khan. However surely it could be possible to drop Mr Khan off in somewhere like Portland Oregon or San Francisco California which already seem to have been trashed by the Left and leave him there? Maybe a reason or rather an excuse that might be employed to keep Mr Khan in the USA would be by sending him on an extended study tour of some of America’s more academically challenged left wing universities?
Think of it as a kind of ‘lease-lend’ arrangement which has worked out quite well in the past. However this time and with this arrangement Londoner’s will get rid of a self aggrandising martinet and the Americans get something that is quite justified to laugh at and mock.
If the Americans can keep Khan for as long as possible then in return I will do something I rarely do and which would be abhorrent to me, which is for a whole month leave out the ‘u’ in the word ‘colour’ and the extra ‘M’ and ‘E’ in word ‘programme’ when I write.
I do whole heartedly agree with you, London is a poor imitation of the once great British city it used to be. My son and I visited it for the day on good Friday and the number of foreign languages you hear is unbelievable. I honestly think that our capital city is now probably less than half British. I am no racist but you can’t help noticing that in some areas you just don’t see a white face for whole streets now and up to 600 a day more coming across the channel.
Is Khan hopeless because of his allegiances, or just because he’s incompetent? Either way, he’s presided over a general decline in standards of (street) behaviour and an increase in street violence which has made it unsafe for women in particular, but also white men, to walk in certain areas. Whatever the reasons, he’s been a disaster for London.
It could be a bit of both plus a bit more. Both Khan’s politics and his incompetence have played a part in the decline of London and the safety of its residents. Something that also needs to be factored in is the man’s personality and unwillingness to take responsibility for failures.
