A short while ago I wrote an article about how two women with ‘trans’ children and who are deeply involved to the whole gender ideology are running support groups for ‘trans children’. I criticised them on, amongst other grounds, for providing a support group that more than likely is based around affirmation of children’s trans delusions rather than diverting them from them. By doing this they were allowing deluded children who believe that they are trans to reinforce the trans delusions of other children and young people in their group.
Well I’ve been doing a little digging using open source intelligence sources and what I’ve found puts another spin on the original story and brings up yet more questions that demand answers.
I have managed to ascertain that one of those involved in the ‘Trans children’s support groups’, a woman named Ali Wells, has also been appointed the Safeguarding Officer for a group that is behind attempts to organise Pride festivities in Herefordshire. This means that there is now the situation where a person who is possibly sympathetic to gender ideology and the whole iffy concept of trans children and young people is overseeing safeguarding policies
Now I’m not of course in any way going to cast any aspersions on this person’s professionalism. They may of course be quite able and willing to separate their enthusiasm for the world of gender ideology with their duties as a safeguarding officer and that’s all well and good, but to have someone who follows or supports or gives the impression of following or supporting a contentious ideology like gender ideology as a safeguarding officer looks bad. It may not be bad but it looks bad. It certainly for some could give the impression that here is a person more concerned about the ‘T’ and not the LGB.
It might have been better and more politic for this particular Pride organisation to find a qualified person as safeguarding officer who was not so readily identifiable with the Cult of Trans. Sometimes what is needed to fill particular positions are non-partisan people as especially in the area of safeguarding as it bodes ill for a person in such a position to be associated with contentious ideologies.
