Clap the NHS you peasants, clap, clap clap.

When I read this post on Orphans of Liberty I was extremely moved. Both Mr Cunningham’s wife and Mr Cunningham himself appear to have been treated monstrously by the NHS. I will not comment further on this linked piece as Mr Cunningham’s words speak very clearly for themselves, except to ask those who clapped the NHS one question. ‘Are you still proud of what you clapped for?’

  1. What a sad and tragic case. It seem that in UK today when you reach an inconvenient age and your no longer a major tax payer your useful days are over and you can be disposed of. I have long suspected the government is of such a view, once you reach pension age and in spite of having paid into the system all your life they really would prefer it if you would die and save them having to pay any pension to you. They will never say such a vote losing thing of course but just judge them by their actions. This of course only applies to the peasants and not the great and the good i.e. the rich and we’ll connected.

A truly awful and tragic case and my prayers go out to Mr Cunningham and his family. The problem is the NHS is so awful and so badly run that any age can be an inconvenient one where the NHS is concerned as we’ve seen from the latest NHS maternity scandal.
