From Elsewhere: The Labour Party. Now unsafe for women.

Many years ago there used to be an acronym to describe those men who habitually crossed acceptable boundaries and were far more ‘physical’ with female co-workers and acquaintances than many women were comfortable with. Such men were referred to as ‘NSIT’ or ‘not safe in taxis’ by women in order to warn their fellows that these men were not to be trusted in certain situations.

Sadly we live in a time when we need to formulate an acronym to describe the condition for women, especially women who believe in things like biological sex, in the Labour Party. This is because the Labour Party has, due to being thoroughly and completely captured by the cult of trans, now become a party that is unsafe for women.

Today’s Labour Party is a cesspit of abuse and harassment for those women who refuse to spout the empty mantras of the cult of trans and who instead insist on fighting for the rights of women and girls. I’m appalled at what is happening in Labour where, as Kim Thomas writing in The Critic says, the leadership does nothing to protect women or their rights within the party.

Ms Thomas spoke of a whole host of incidents where long standing female Labour members and elected representatives are being either hounded out of the party or subjected to attempts to ‘re-educate’ them into accepting that 2+2=5 by agreeing to the bogus statement that ‘transwomen are women’. Women in the Labour Party who support women’s rights now cannot even meet openly to discuss the position of women. Ms Thomas said of the position of the Labour Women’s Declaration group:

Launched in 2019 and currently signed by over 7,500 supporters, the Labour Women’s Declaration (LWD) states that women have the right to maintain their sex-based protections, including female-only spaces such as changing rooms and hospital wards. Following experiences of harassment and smears, LWD activists organise mostly in secret. “Tedious, low-level bullying and silencing of women, and of lesbians in particular” has sometimes been combined with disciplinary action by the party, a spokeswoman says. As in Lent’s case, the letters from the national office tell women they must not speak to anyone about the disciplinary process.

Ms Thomas then went onto speak of other individual cases where the Labour Party establishment had cracked down on women who will not kow tow to the cult of trans. In one instance a long standing Labour member, lesbian rights campaigner and local councillor was reprimanded by the party for posting Tweets supporting sex based rights and forced to write a letter of apology to the (presumably trans cult dominated, as many Pride groups are now) town’s local ‘Pride Group’.

Harassment, bullying and forced to be ‘re-educated’ by coerced apologies to local trans dominated Pride Groups is what women in the Labour Party are being subjected to. There are many many reasons not to vote for the Labour Party but bullying women into accepting policy positions that damage women’s rights is another damned good reason to never choose Labour as a party to govern us. Having grown up with and alongside many women who chose Labour as they were seen as beneficial to women I find it utterly disgusting that the Labour Party is now clearly a party that is more than willing to throw women under the bus in order to curry favour with the Cult of Trans. This is I’m afraid just another disgraceful incident from an increasingly disgraceful political party.

  1. No need for a new acronym – NSIT now stands for “Not Safe In Toilets”.

  2. When will Starmer get a grip and resolve these issues? He’s not got long to turn it around before there’ll be an election to lose. It’s almost as if he doesn’t want to succeed:
    He can’t/won’t define a woman.
He’s done nothing to protect women in public toilets, changing rooms, etc.
He’s ignoring the grooming gangs (who just happen to be in Labour-supporting constituencies)
He’s not against the channel invaders.
He’s too vague about the many issues on which potential Labour supporters want clarity.
He still needs to upload a personality.

A vote for the Uniparty is a wasted vote – there’s no discernible difference between Con/Lib/Lab ‘policies’ (because they all take their orders from the WEF).

    • Perhaps Starmer is depending on two or three factors:
      (a) an “unassailable” lead in the polls. that will, I think, be how it’s seen by the Labour Party.
      (b) the block votes of “immigrant” communities, especially via postal votes when it really does seem to be “one man one vote” in that one man has one vote, just on many voting papers.
      (c) the fact that the MSM seldom challenges “the left” on its views, so his failings won’t be made that obvious.

All of these may collapse as election nears. If things go relatively well then the labour lead may start to fall. Labour party Trans-pandering will not go down well with small-c social conservatives which includes large swathes of the “immigrant” communities and the MSM may become more challenging (if they don’t they will increasingly be seen as more irrelevant – the public can hear and see when “X” is being given a free-pass).

p.s. I really, really hope you meant “He [Starmer] still needs to DOWNLOAD a personality.” The thought of Starmer uploading his personality to the cloud is truly scary.

We are still as you say a way off the GE and a lot can happen before then. I certainly agree that the trans pandering will and probably already is playing badly with Afro-Brits because of religious reasons and tht there are immigrant and immigrant heritage communities that are more socially conservative than Labour.

To add: An interesting article about Starmer and the Trans lunatics has gone up on Graham Linehan’s place. It enhances your point that the cleaving to trans activism and activists by Labour may end up damaging them. There’s a long history of women being influential in the Labour party going back to at least 1945 and if Labour start to be seen as following policies that are inimical to women’s rights then this could cost them votes from women as well as socially conservative minorities. Sir Keir should indeed have ‘do nothing’ as part of his name. If he was selling me a car then I’d want a mechanics opinion of the vehicle before I parted with cash, Starmer has that sort of vibe about him.

I agree I can’t vote for the Westminster wastrels any more. It’s the same turd with a different flavour of gravy slapped on top of it.

  3. Here’s an idea…leave the Labour party

Maybe they should or maybe that these women who are being intimidated in Labour just want their party back from the trans lunatics and don’t see any other vehicle that for them would advance women’s rights?
