The documentary ‘Adult Human Female’, about the rise of gender ideology and the capture of British institutions by this ideology, has been the target of a great deal of protest by the censorious Left. Showings in Nottingham and Edinburgh were shut down by trans rights activists who refused to engage with the film or its subject but just wanted to shut down both the film and any debate about gender ideology. The attacks on this movie by trans activists when screenings have been planned have meant that distribution of this movie has up till recently been done in a Samizdat manner with people concerned about the impact of gender ideology having to hold private or semi-private screening parties in their living rooms in order to get this film seen. This is a terrible thing to happen in what was once a free society.
However this movie has now been put up on You Tube and it is a film that in my opinion is well worth watching. Although I know a fair bit about gender ideology and the negative impact it has had on women’s rights, safeguarding and politics, I learned a lot from this movie. I most certainly have learned from this movie that our universities, which should be places of open and free enquiry, now punish those academics who wish to ask questions of the gender identity ideology and have placed gender ideology in a position where it cannot and must not be challenged.
What gets me about this movie is that the vast majority of those featured in it seem to be from the political Left yet these leftists, sometimes lifelong Labour and Trade Union members, are being shafted by what passes for the Left these days. One participant drew a distinction between Labour members who appear to be fully on board with the cult of Trans and Labour’s potential voters. They said that whilst adherence to the trans cult is compulsory with what they called ‘the Islington set’ it’s wildly unpopular with voters.
Whilst on the whole I was impressed greatly that this movie has given the opportunity for those who have been comprehensively silenced by the Left and those who adhere to Stonewall’s demands to erase the whole concept of sex there were some things that jarred. For example Julie Bindel’s quite obvious Trump Derangement Syndrome was probably not necessary to include in order to tell the story of how the trans ideology has damaged Britain’s institutions and society. However even if you gloss over stuff like that and the ‘Marxist eco-Feminist’ who is astounded at the authoritarianism of the trans cult, this is still a movie well worth seeing. It’s worth seeing in order to understand just how completely Britain’s institutions, politics and culture has been manipulated by the advocates of the cult of trans in order to sideline and silence those who ask awkward and valid questions about the now obvious damage that this gender ideology cult is doing.
Anyway here’s a link below to the whole movie that’s on You Tube and it’s a very well made polemic documentary that will probably shock you and hopefully make you wonder how a policy of reasonable accommodations for post operative transsexuals ended up the way it has. How its ended should bother people as now we have intact men demanding and getting access to spaces that any reasonable person would agree should be reserved for women, not transwomen or those who feel a bit girly every second Wednesday of the month, but those who are biologically adult human females.
It’s all too depressing. I can’t work out how we got here.
We got here by lots of different routes. From the film I can see that my suspicions that much of the drive for the cult of trans comes from academia was confirmed. As well as academia, which has made gender ideology something that cannot be debated about or discussed lest it ‘harm’ trans people, also I believe that at one time there was a genuine desire in politics to make things better for the extremely small numbers of proper transsexuals out there, but this cause has been corrupted by all sorts of Queer Theory stuff leading to the lunacy of preferred pronouns, non-binary attention seeking and women’s rights, rights that were hard fought for by both women and men, becoming eroded and endangered.
I think that we are rapidly approaching ‘Peak Trans’ where a critical mass of people who might have kept quiet about the issue either because they don’t want trans cult thugs on their doorstep, or to keep their jobs or merely to be perceived as ‘nice’, start to think and then say ‘hang on a bit’? The transing of the children issue, the aggression and sometimes criminality of too many trans rights activists, the increasingly inappropriate behaviour of those allied to the cult of trans along with the transwomen in sport and prisons thing, is really starting to impinge on the minds of the average Brit I’ve spoken to IRL. It’s quite possible that the cult of trans or at least the extremes of it is inviting a backlash but in what form or intensity it might be I can’t say. But it’s likely to come from people who are only just realising that although individual transsexuals might be decent individuals, I should know I dated one for a short while, the same cannot be said for the cult of trans with its bullying pronoun demands, the violence of the pro-trans black clad ‘Panty-fa’, the misogyny and homophobia, the smashing of safeguarding and trail of shattered lives of those people, some very young, who have been hoodwinked into transition.
I find it helpful to think of it as some kind of mass hysteria or an infectious mental illness. I will never ever call a man with a beard & a willy “madam” no matter what he calls himself. And to the question “what is your pronoun?” my answer will be always “I do not understand your question.”
It is indeed a form of mass hysteria where people deliberately ignore the evidence of their own eyes and go with the cultist flow. There’s also a significant social contagion aspect of this cult which is why it seems to increasingly affect similar cohorts of people, girls and young women, who are likely to be influenced by other social contagions such as self harm and eating disorders.
I absolutely agree with you. It’s terrifying. The thought of mutilating young bodies of those too young to make an informed choice but swayed by all the social media nonsense swirling around them.
What happens when they hit 25 and change their minds ? And who is paying for all of this ? And if on the NHS why ? And if the NHS, should not those clinicians be working in A&E or Cardiac or Oncology ? It’s just insane (rant over)
Rant away, I find that the cult of trans these days makes me want to rant and I say that as someone who has always been relatively liberal on this issue and believes that there are a miniscule number of individuals who are genuinely transsexual and for whom transition is a last resort treatment. I think that being around trans people who found that their transition did not cure what ever mental ills ailed them and drove them towards transition was what first alerted me to the fact that something was wrong with the trans ideology.
The targeting of children is especially egregious in my view. It’s exploiting those who are too immature to know their own minds.
As for what happens post 25, well we are starting to see that in the form of traumatised detransitoiners who have come to regret being mutilated and sterilised. The existence of detransitioners hits hard at the cult of trans and this is why detransitioners get so much hatred aimed at them by trans rights activists.
As for where the money is coming from in the UK it is the NHS but in other countries like the USA transitioning is very big business with basic surgery coming in at well over $100k and then there’s the lifelong need for expensive prescriptions just in order to keep the transition stable, deal with opportunistic infections and to deal with the effects of osteoporosis caused by things like puberty blockers. For many US doctors transtion is a big earner. Mind you it’s a big earner for the Lib Dem party here in the UK as well as they’ve taken donations from puberty blocker manufacturers which might explain their enthusiasm for all things trans.
On a personal note I am going to have to put in a complaint to my child’s school as they have instituted a policy of allowing primary pupils ‘gender expression’ with regards uniforms etc. This is not what the Equality Act says as gender expression is not a protected characteristic only gender transition is so covered.
You’ll end up with that nonsense we’ve already read about. Billy on Monday, Billie on Tuesday. Henry on Tuesday, Henrietta on Thursday. Utter utter bilge, and not to be encouraged.
Thank goodness I’m past that with my two. Alice is solidly Alice (and a mum) and Edward will always be an Edward.
It’s my granddaughter (2) I worry about facing all this dangerous nonsense in 3 years’ time.
I’d be fascinated to hear what the school say.
Indeed that would be the case. Every parent or grandparent with school age children should be worried about the influence on education of the cult of trans. Activist groups dominated by those who want to evangelise for the trans cult have in my view far too much influence on the content of RSE lessons. I’ve nothing against mid teenagers 14 – 15 year olds being told that transsexuals exist and it’s not right to attack them but what is going on is not informing kids its indoctrinating them an often at very very young ages. There are a lot of kids out there who don’t play with the toys or dressing up stuff that accords with their sex, this is something tht is relatively normal, kids play, kids explore and kids engage their imaginations and is something that has been observed for decades if not centuries. It’s horrifying to think of these kids who are not in any way trans and are just showing gender incongruence in play, being pushed onto a path that leads to mutilation, sterilisation, mental trauma and a possible early death either from the effects of what are experimental surgeries or from self destruction.
I also am interested in what the school have to say. I suspect that this offending passage might have been cribbed direct from some govt document that has been excessively influenced by Stonewall.
