David ‘Bastard Dave’ Carrick the rapist Metropolitan Police officer who pleaded guilty to a string of sexual and domestic violence offences has been gaoled for thirty years. It would have been slightly longer had he not pleaded guilty. The judge did not impose a whole life tariff which means that after his 30 year term has ended he will be eligible to apply for parole. Hopefully this rapist bastard in uniform will die in prison and as he’s not likely to be in a position to be released until he is approaching eighty this looks like a distinct possibility.

It’s good that ‘Bastard Dave’ is now behind bars where he deserves to be but the job that the Met now have to do is to find out just how many other ‘Bastard Daves’ might either be on their current payroll or who have been employed by them in the past. The Commissioner Sir Mark Rowley has said that the public needs to be prepared to see a string of future cases where police officers or former police officers are charged with serious criminal offences which could mean that Bastard Dave Carrick might not be alone when it comes to misbehaving Met officers.
