A few days ago there was a great video published by Tim4All on Twitter. It shows just a few of Sir Keir Starmer’s many u-turns and inconsistencies in his published statements. Whilst it is normally a good thing for politicians to change their minds when confronted with evidence that challenges their particular position, what we seem to have with Starmer is a case of he’ll say anything and everything in order to get elected, even if if means rapidly changing a position, not in response to evidence, but to what’s polling well at that point. Starmer reminds me greatly of the joke, misattributed to Groucho Marx, ‘these are my principles. If you don’t like them, well, I have others’, made flesh.
Off-topic, but I can now never look at a picture of Keir Starmer without being reminded of my friend’s hilarious comment that: “He’s always got this guilty red-faced look about him as though he’s just been caught w*nking.” (Hold onto that thought…..LOL)
By Jove! I’ve just been to look at a plethora of images of Sir Keir and it appears that your friend may well be correct. Starmer has probably got more to feel guilty about than a mere act of self love.

AAArgh! You put that image into my head.
Please, please make it go away!

I’ve thought of a solution to the energy crisis. Starmer has U-turned so many times on so many things that if we hitched him to a generator we’d probably have perpetual motion.
