Interesting story in the Scottish Daily Express about money that should have gone to the Scottish National Health Service but doesn’t seem to have been spent on it. £17.6 Billion that went to Scotland under Barnet Consequentials since 2008 seems to have disappeared according to the Scottish Conservatives.

Of course it needs to be recognised that this is one party attacking another but if it is true that so much money has been diverted from the NHS into other projects the nature of which are currently undisclosed, then it could well be a horrific scandal. It’s also a tragedy as so much money that could have gone for patient care has gone who knows where.
