Back in the day, when to all intents and purposes the world stood on the brink of nuclear conflagration, I used to get a fair bit of information from shortwave radio. It’s how I got news of all manner of matters in world politics. In order to be properly informed I would listen to Radio Moscow, The Voice of America (VOA) and the BBC World Service. I quickly learned that there was obvious bias in both Radio Moscow and the VOA’s output but that the BBC could at least be trusted to report stories relatively accurately. If the BBC reported for example the words of the US President or the leader of the Soviet Union, then you could trust that the BBC reporting of these words would be accurate.
Now it seems the BBC cannot even tell the truth when it comes to the sex of criminal offenders. The broadcasting entity that I once trusted to tell me how international arms reduction treaties were progressing, now cannot be trusted to tell me whether a violent offender is a man or a woman.
The BBC has reported that the person in the image above is a woman. It is not. He is a man. This is something that we can quite easily discern from even the briefest glimpse of the photograph above. Sadly the BBC is so deeply in thrall to the cult of trans that it now lies to our faces in stories like this and tells the public that what is obviously a man, is not.
The BBC said:
Zara Jade, 54, attacked her victim at a Halifax flat last year and left her tied up while she went to an ATM.
Jade admitted offences of wounding with intent to do grievous bodily harm, robbery, fraud and false imprisonment at Bradford Crown Court.
She was jailed for nine years with an extended licence period of three years.
The injuries inflicted were described as “superficial” by prosecutor Lydia Pearce, who said Jade then took cash from the victim and also demanded her PIN number.
Jade used tights to tie her victim into a electrically-powered chair, set in the recline position.
The original story used the descriptor ‘woman’ but later, I presume after pressure from outside the BBC, the story was changed to have the descriptor ‘transgender woman’. But they still insist on using the term ‘she’ for this man throughout their article. The fact that the BBC originally thought they could get away with the word ‘woman’ to describe this man and continues to call him ‘she’ does indicate that, when it comes to the trans issue at least, the BBC now puts ideology above truthfulness in its list of priorities.
If you was looking for yet another reason why BBC News is now unfit for purpose and why the public should cease funding this organisation, then this case with its obvious dishonesty must be one.
Same thing with the school shooting in Nashville – anyone know what sex “Audrey” Hale actually is?
We now know that the Nashville mass murderer is a genetic woman who posed as a man. There was some initial confusion about the sex but this was later clarified. What’s interesting about this case is that there are claims by some commentators that the police are refusing to release the ‘manifesto’ that the shooter had written. It’s possible that this restriction may be genuinely legally based but it is also possible that this ‘manifesto’ might contain all sorts of trans politics stuff that the Left will be embarrassed by which is why there is the possibility that elements on the Left might have pushed for this manifesto’s suppression. See: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vFzX7-9j73M Personally I believe that the public needs to see these nutcase manifestos if only to give people tools to spot future potential mass murderers.
BBC bias?
I am shocked, shocked I tell you!
It’s not as if the BBC has shown bias in its coverage of Brexit, the environment, Israel, …
… oh, wait.
The biases of the BBC in its coverage of Brexit, Israel and the environment are there and can be discerned to be there but they are often much more subtle than this particular example of BBC bias. We have to have some prior knowledge of what is truthful with these aforementioned issues so the bias might slip through for many Britons. However when the BBC lie so blatantly and so obviously over the matter of whether a violent criminal is a man or a woman, then that’s BBC bias that needs no prior in depth knowledge to see.
Most sensible people can agree there are two sexes, with every one of the trillions of cells in our bodies containing either XX or XY chromosomes. This is scientific fact, not open to opinion.
Gender is a mental construct and it’s obvious to most that it varies from sex. This is where those activists pushing their minority views on us all have, possibly deliberately, chosen the wrong terminology.
‘Trans’ should properly be Transgender, not Transsexual.
Happy to help to clear up this confusion!
I agree that most sensible people can see that there are only two sexes. Gender is an idea not a reality. Sex is real but gender is how we view the interactions and social positions of the sexes.
My main issue with the word ‘transgender’ is that it lumps two separate groupings, transvestites and transsexuals into one unwieldy mess.
My point is that there can be no transsexuals, by definition that’s impossible. The term is used to muddy people’s understanding of what these disturbed people believe.
Thank you for the clarification. It is possible for a person to create a simulacrum on their own body of the outward appearance of the opposite sex, but not to completely become that opposite sex. This is why I like trans writers like Debbie Hayton and others of a similar mindset as they recognise that they are not women but are men with mental illnesses that can only be, for them, alleviated by transition. Transition only changes superficial appearances and cannot change DNA or make a person fully functional as either a man or a woman.
