Someone who doesn’t seem to be mixed up, even when he is utterly and completely and provably wrong, is Ed Davey the Leader of the Liberal Democrat Party.
In a clip from a radio interview that has been republished on the Guido Fawkes site, Ed Davey, when asked if a woman can have a penis, replied ‘clearly‘. Yes, of course this clip might be taken out of context, but knowing what I do about how deeply the Cult of Trans has penetrated and dominated the Lib Dems in recent years, to the extent that a woman has been barred from standing for the party in Parliamentary seats, because of her criticisms of the gender cult, it would not surprise me one bit to find Davey believing in biological error.
Women don’t have penises. This should not be a controversial thing to say, it should be no more remarkable than saying that, at the present point in geological time, there are 24 hours in a day on Planet Earth.
What should be controversial is fact free claims that women have penises or that men have vaginas. Such claims are counter to observable reality.
There is no need to wibble and wobble, duck and dive, as politicians do when confronted with the question ‘do women have penises’. The clear answer is that women do not have penises. Those politicians who do equivocate over questions like this are not showing the public that they are being ‘kind’ to those with mental illnesses that manifest in gender dysphoria, instead they are showing the public that they are liars who are prepared to go along with lies. It’s a lie to say that women have penises and if a politician is willing to lie about something as basic as human biology then what else are they prepared to lie to the rest of us about?
The Lib Dems have done well by presenting themselves as an alternative to Labour and Tories. Their policy of presenting different faces in different constituencies and being seen as the party of choice for those who don’t care about and have little knowledge of politics, has served the Lib Dems very well in recent decades. However with the rise in criticism of the cult of trans and growing concern about gender ideology being pushed onto children, the Lib Dems might find out as time goes by that at elections being the party of ‘chicks with dicks’ might not be as popular as some Lib Dem activists might believe it is.
There is a dire need for parties to challenge the Labour / Tory duopoly, but knowing what I know about this once great party that has become mired in fashionable stupidity, I can’t vote for the Lib Dems to fulfil that role. I have too much respect for reality than to vote for a party that believes that women can have penises and which allegedly victimises women who speak up for their sex and against the cult of trans. At the next General Election remember what the Lib Dems really stand for and refuse to vote for the ‘Chicks with Dicks’ party led by Ed Davey.

You identify as a cat and some lefty idiot will probably take you seriously. Personally on Thursday I’m going to identify as a rubbish Skip as I’m hoping to get some free wood for a garden project.
It’s far worse than a mental illness or a silly fad – mental illness may be cured and fads will fade, but nothing will ever put right the monstrous evil of people being persuaded to allow themselves to be mutilated into facsimiles of the opposite sex. In 50 years time there will still be men bitterly regretting that they had their genitalia removed, women mourning the families they never had, and both sexes committing suicide on an industrial scale.
If I ever hear of any emasculated man murdering his parents, teachers, or an NHS worker – they will have my sympathy and understanding. Dr Mengele would be proud of his NHS proteges.
The Gender Mengeles have a lot to answer for. I suspect that in the future we may end up looking at gender reassignment in a similar way to how we now look at lobotomies, which is as a cure that is worse than the disease.

For a small party the Lib Dems seem to have an awful lot of wrong ‘uns associated with it. Out of that list you gave only the late Charles Kennedy could be classified as relatively normal. His addiction issues were a tragedy but as for the rest then they are all iffy or have been alleged to be to some degree.
Has anyone else noticed this irony:
as several commentators above have inferred if a person SELF-IDENTIFIES as the opposite sex, a car, dog, attack helicopter, etc. then the only legitimate response is to validate this person’s identity.
If a bearded savage wielding a machete, screaming “Allahu Akbar!” sets out to kill and maim, leaving behind a note telling everyone he is doing this “for the sake of Allah”, is shown to be a regular mosque goer and “religious” etc.; then the ONE thing we are NOT allowed to do is validate his identity as a Muslim.
Thus “self-identification” only seems to be valid if it is an identity that (in general) leftists want to promote and (yet another) example of double standards.
You make an interesting point with your observation there. You are also correct in pointing out that self identification is only acceptable to the left when someone is self identifying as something that the left likes. There is indeed a whole lot of double standards out there.

Another would be anorexia. I think that it was more than just “Look at me” but was a cry for help; not so sure with trans.

Good point but with anorexics it’s the patient who is self mutilating rather than the medical profession doing it. A responsible medic would not prescribe appetite suppressants to an anorexic but medics are quite happy to prescribe surgical and medical mutilations to those with gender dysphoria.
