The Independent Television (ITV) channel is Britain’s main terrestrial commercial television outlet. It’s the main domestic competitor to the BBC and has been since it was set up in the 1950’s and is also the home of many popular dramas, game and reality shows and soap operas.

But it’s recently shown that like other broadcasters such as the BBC and Channel 4, it’s riddled with propagandists for the cult of trans. After all why else would Britain’s major commercial channel decide to use a transgender person to illustrate the potential effects of a collapse by Thames Water on customers.

There are millions of men and women, often people struggling with water bills or with poor service from Thames Water who could have been featured in this piece, there was no excuse for ignoring all these people in favour of a gender ideology addled Troon. The person in the video below is not at all representative of the customers of Thames Water and indeed is not even that representative of the population of the area served by Thames Water.

ITV could have used a genuine mother to illustrate this story and to provide background ‘colour’ for the story they did not have to use a man pretending to be both a woman and a mother. This is an example of erasure of women and of putting women’s rights and women’s concerns below those of men who pretend to be women. ITV’s decision to use a Troon instead of a woman in this news piece is truly appalling. It’s the equivalent of using a White actor in blackface make up to portray Martin Luther King Jr. Such an action would, quite rightly, these days be looked upon with disgust and met with condemnation, yet ITV seem quite happy to promote what is clearly a man who is dressed up in order to play Womanface.

This was an utterly disgusting and deeply propagandistic act by ITV and I’m pleased to see that ITV are getting dumped on from a great height on social media by woman for what they’ve done. If ITV wanted to show the potential effects of a Thames Water collapse on women and mothers then why didn’t they go and find one instead of using an activist Troon to do this? Why ignore thousands upon thousands of women and settle instead on a man in a dress for this story? This is naked propaganda from ITV and should be seen as and called out as such.
