The stories that are emerging following the invasion of Israel by the Islamic savages of Hamas continue to get worse and worse.
This from the New York Post.
Hamas terrorists slaughtered at least 40 babies and young children — decapitating some of them — at a kibbutz near the Gaza border, shaken Israeli officials and reporters at the scene said Tuesday.
“It’s hard to even explain exactly just the mass casualties that happened right here,” visibly distraught i24 News correspondent Nicole Zedek said during a broadcast from Kibbutz Kfar Aza near Sderot about a quarter-mile from the Gaza Strip.
“Babies with their heads cut off, that’s what [the soldiers] said. Gunned down. Families gunned down, completely gunned down in their beds,” Zedek said of the “sheer horror.
“This is nothing that anyone would have even imagined,” she said.
The Muslims of Gaza who line up with or support Hamas are savages of the worst kind. But this is not just an atrocity committed by savages in a far away land, with, some might say little impact on Britain. These are the savages that too many on the British Left are supporting and which has also brought too many British Muslims out onto the streets not to decry violence like this, but to support and celebrate it. Somehow these facts bring the savagery and the fear of it much closer to home. Those, like the Muslims and Leftists who are supporting the monsters of Hamas and who celebrate the deaths of babies and children in Israel, may, at some point in the future, be susceptible to supporting the killing of babies here in the UK. Moral compasses matter and too many on Britain’s Left and a significant minority of British Muslims seem to have moral compasses that are broken beyond repair and their reaction to the Israeli horror has certainly highlighted that fact.
Here here.
People who support the mutilation of children by “trans-gender” surgery, the culling of the elderly through enforced Covid cross-infection in nursing homes, the condemning to death of hospital patients through refusal to carry out operations, the destruction of their own society through mass immigration, the erosion of women’s rights and basic protections together with the endangering and corruption of children though the trans movement, and who applaud the silencing and sacking of anyone who protests – are hardly likely to care about the fate of others.
For years, I have looked at the vicious, vacuous, and venal people who now operate the levers in our society, and wondered with how little compunction they too would sign papers ordering the rounding-up of Europe’s Jewish population.
There’s now backtracking about this alleged horror. But it has served its purpose in painting Hamas as totally inhuman, thus excusing the flattening of large parts of Gaza City, murdering civilians.
There are no winners in this conflict, with truth the first casualty.
There has been plenty of other evidence to show the inhumanity of the savages of Hamas. Don’t think that Israel has much choice now but to deal with the Hamas problem once and for all.
@Edp – you mean the civilians who voted for Hamas and celebrate when Jews are killed-those civilians or do you mean a different lot of civilians ? Theres no backtracking about the horror that Hamas inflicted on Israel except in the mind of supporters of these terrorists.
Moqifen – I mean the NY Times has backtracked on their beheaded babies allegation, as no supporting documentary or photo evidence has been seen. I do not support Hamas in any way whatsoever and abhor their violence, but we should all avoid false statements intended to cause worse reactions. The whole lot of these ghastly events could have been avoided in the first place, if the UN had persisted in supporting the formation of a Palestinian State.
The NYT may have withdrawn their allegation, but the Israeli government hasn’t, I believe they’ve released the pictures but no one wants to publish them. The so called Palestinians (a made up people for propaganda purposes) in Gaza are not some innocent bystanders – they voted for Hamas and cheer them on whenever they kill Jews – theres plenty of evidence of this. The only way this violence could be avoided is if the Arabs stop trying to kill jews and destroy Israel – what do you think from the river to the sea means?? Sorry you sound like an apologist for these scum.
Moqifen. I’m with you on the fact that the Israeli govt were forced to show journos the pictures because of the ‘chaff’ that had been put out by various leftist and pro Hamas sources which said that this atrocity did not happen. It’s true that the Gazans voted for Hamas and have supported Hamas with remarkable loyalty over the years which suggests that there is a significant degree of support for Hamas. I agree also that the Arab Muslims hold the peace card here. They could stop the support for Jew hate and Jew murders and live in peace but they will not. The ‘Palestinians’ were offered a state on many different occasions, there has been ‘land for peace’ deals and much effort has been spent on getting the ‘Palestinians’ to live in peace with their Jewish, Christian and Druze neighbours. Every opportunity for peace that the Pals got was rejected by them.
I’m not convinced about your categorisation of Ed P as a Hamas apologist. There has been a fog of war situation here but confirmation via a number of journalists about the baby atrocity has been achieved, we all get things wrong but the NYT is a paper that has sympathies for lefitst causes like ‘Palestine’. He is however a bit mistaken about the UN and a Pal state. The Arabs were offered much more than the Jews were to get when the UN was debating the original I/P natter but they rejected that and went to war against the proto Israeli state.
