Whilst I can confidently say that not all Muslims wish to kill Jews for no other reason that they are Jews I also cannot say that Islam inspired Jew hatred is not the reasoning behind why some Muslims choose to murder or attack Jews. When news came in today that there had been a car ramming attack in Raanana near to the city of Herzilya north of Tel Aviv, I was pretty sure that it would be a Muslim behind it.

My assumption turned out to be correct with two ‘Palestinians’ from the vicinity of the town of Hebron and from the same family being alleged to have been behind the attack which killed one person and which has injured many others. The two ‘Palestinians’, who are said to have entered Israel illegally, have been arrested by Israeli security forces·

The Reuters news agency said:

Two Palestinians carried out coordinated car-rammings in central Israel on Monday, killing a woman and injuring 12 other people, police and medical officials said, as tensions soared over the more than three-month-old war in the Gaza Strip.

Police described the incident in Raanana, north of Tel Aviv, as a terrorist attack and said two suspects were under arrest. The two are from the same family in Hebron, a city in the occupied West Bank, and entered Israel illegally, police said.

“They went out together and in parallel, to two different locations, took two cars and launched a series of rammings,” central district police chief Avi Biton told reporters in Raanana, a city north of Tel Aviv where the incident took place.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility.

At least one of the vehicles had been stolen, police said earlier.

It’s not jumping to conclusions to assume that these two murderous savages are followers of Islam as that is really the most likely conclusion. These perpetrators are unlikely to be Roman Catholic Christians or Jains or Hindus and are certainly highly unlikely to be Methodists. They are most likely to be Muslims fired up to commit jihad against Jews not because of a land dispute but because their ideology is steeped in Jew hatred and has been since its inception in the deserts of Arabia in the seventh century.

Even though I accept that there are Muslims who are not extremists and who just want to get on with life peacefully and want nothing to do with violently hating on Jews, we cannot ignore the fact that there are a large number of Muslims who do think this way. We must, in the light of the 7/10 Pogrom and the massive support being shown on the streets of British cities by Muslims for Hamas, accept that there are some Muslims and some Islamic paths that are a threat not just to Jews but to everyone else as well. When it comes to threats by ideologies and the followers of ideologies, we can see that there is and should be no space for naive thinking.
