Anyone who has watched the behaviour of London’s Metropolitan Police over the last few years can be left in little doubt that the Met are not policing London equitably. They are not policing equitably because they have become politicised. Because of this politicisation and in particular the way that The Met have grasped hold of the divisive concept of identity politics, different groups are policed differently and too often advantageously when compared to other groups.

We saw this differential policing in full view during the Covid Pandemic when the Met went in hard against those protesting about the damage done by lockdowns but knelt like supplicants when policing the racialist Marxist thugs from the Black Lives Matter movement. We have seen it when Met Police officers have played ‘Mrs Mopp’ to a mosque that had bacon thrown at it but do very little or act with excessive sluggishness when Left wing or Islamist demonstrators trash or desecrate Britain’s national memorials. I’ve also seen the Met screw up a case where Muslims were making rape threats against Jewish women on the streets of London and screw it up to such an extent that there was basically no real punishment for the perpetrators. There has also been the case of ‘Mo-Hammered’ the mentally deranged, pissed up and drugged up Muslim who travelled hundreds of miles in order to physically assault Jews in London’s Stamford Hill area. In that case it took immense pressure by Jewish communal groups to even have the Met and the equally awful Crown Prosecution Service treat this as a crime motivated by the faith of the victims.

It’s pretty clear to me as someone who has been observing the conduct of the Met for a long time that the Met are running a policing system that is two tier. They will pull out the stops to assist Muslims and use their powers as police officers to go after those who criticise Islam, Islam-centred groups or particular Muslims yet police with kid gloves demonstrations dominated by a Left – Islamic alliance. We can see from our own social media and other information feeds that the Met are quite happy to stand by and do little or nothing when Islamists and their leftist useful idiot chums chant for the genocide of Jews, but the Met will come down heavily and sometimes, as we saw with the patriot group on Remembrance Day 2023, disproportionately violently, on any group that is not readily identifiable with Leftist politics.

The 100+ days since the 7/10 Pogrom in Israel has seen the Met show us just how utterly ruined as an organisation they are. They have policed, yes I know it’s a laughable term when talking of the Met, mass demonstrations of leftists and Muslim extremists with the sort of force, which is no force at all, that you would normally expect to see police employing for a Vicarage tea party. They have engaged in this sort of non-policing of these pro-Hamas hate demonstrations even when the demonstrators were clearly calling for the genocide of Jews and for murderous Jihad against Jews and everyone else. Faced with this sort of conduct the Met Police have done the bare minimum that they need to do which is post protest arrests, arrests that the Met may or may not take seriously and be investigated properly with the alleged offender charged or, which is what I believe is much more likely, just quietly drop the cases when the fuss has died down.

The Met, which has been revealed to have had Islamic extremist adjacent ‘community advisors’ working for them has in my view clearly been playing the appeasement game. The police obviously do not want the public disorder that will inevitably come from confronting radical Muslims and their Jew and other hatreds so have opted to appease the troublemakers in the hope that they will be less likely to kick off.

Unfortunately, as any student of history and politics would know, appeasement doesn’t work. This policy of appeasement towards Islamic groups and Islamic interests has backfired on the Met. The result of this policy of appeasement has been that various types of Islamic extremist has been emboldened. They have been emboldened to scream for the death of Jews at the various pro-Hamas hate marches in London, emboldened to threaten schools with bomb and other attacks and emboldened to turn out to bring mob rule to our streets. For the record I’m not saying that every Muslim in London supports this crap but there is a significant number of extremists who do and these extremists are a threat not just to the non-Muslims of London but are also a threat to those Muslims who have rejected extremism in all its forms.

However, because of the Jew hatred that is embedded in the ideology of Islam and which has been the case ever since the Islamic ‘prophet’ Mohammed started the religion and ideology of Islam, Jews are an especially vulnerable target. Jews are the first target for Islamic radicals after they have cowed the more moderate Muslims with violence and threats of violence.

It is impossible to deny now that Jews are being specifically targeted by Islamic extremists and it is because of this threat that Jewish synagogues, community centres, communal organisations and schools have to have the sort of high grade security that astounds non-Jews who visit these places.

A specifically high profile example of how Islamic extremists target Jews and how the appeasement policy that has been followed by the Met Police has made this problem worse comes from a recent incident in Hendon in North West London.

According to a report in the Jewish Chronicle a gang of Muslim headcases decided that they would hold a demonstration at a centre that provides help to troubled Jewish teenagers. The mob was apparently whipped up by those working for the Islamist media outlet 5Pillars who issued a call to arms because one of the speakers who were to address Jewish teenagers was an Israeli soldier whom 5Pillars had accused of rummaging through items in a house that had been abandoned following Israel’s retaliatory attack on Gaza and the Hamas terror organisation.

The Jewish Chronicle said:

A Jewish charity event to help disaffected young boys has been mobbed by anti-Israel protestors after the address was leaked by a provocative social media activist.

Disturbing footage shows a number of masked men abusing Jewish passers-by in Hendon while being blocked by police.

The JC understands that the British-Israeli speaker at the event, IDF soldier Levi Simon, has since been targeted outside his London home.

Dilly Hussain, the editor of Muslim blog, 5 Pillars, shared information about the event on social media, including the charity’s address and charity number. Hussain appeared to call on his followers to attend the event, claiming that Simon: “Posted a video of himself rummaging through a Palestinian woman’s nightwear after her house was evacuated in Gaza.”

It’s illustrative of the warped mindset of these Islamic extremists is that they are highly vexed by a video of a solider searching a house in an area where there has been Islamic extremist activity and which has harboured murderous terrorists and not be perturbed by the mass murders and rapes carried out by the Islamic terror organisation Hamas. As is so often the case these Islamic extremists get highly voluble when it comes to minor stuff but refuse to see or condemn Islamic terrorism and terrorists.

The Jewish Chronicle said that there were about 50 or 60 of these Islamic extremists screaming their hatred for Israel and Jews and verbally abusing Jews that were walking by.

The Jewish Chronicle added:

The event was also mentioned on the hard-left website Novara Media.

The Boys Clubhouse is a Jewish charity that provides a safe environment for disadvantaged teenage boys in crisis. 

The charity’s founder and Chief Executive, Ari Leaman MBE, told the JC that Levi Simon had been invited “to inspire the boys to do well in life, it had nothing to do with the army.” Simon was due to speak to four disaffected boys who had been excluded from school, “it was a talk about overcoming adversity and not doing drugs.”

Simon posted about the event on his Facebook, a screenshot of which was widely shared on anti-Israel social media groups. Leaman said it “somehow went out to almost every Palestinian group that there is an IDF guy hosting a charity event.”

The lunchtime talk went ahead at a different address. Leaman said that the boys “know this is part of being Jewish in England today.”

A passerby told the JC, “A lot of guys with balaclavas started targeting the office.” According to the witness, the gang was trying to break into The Boys Clubhouse office. The CST and police had to guard both the front and back entrances to stop the men getting into the building.

It’s pretty clear to me that if the Met had not had their appeasement of Islamic nutcases in place then these extremist savages would not have felt so emboldened that they could do what they did. The Met doesn’t appear to have taken any steps to move this mob away from the building and are doing the bare minimum to keep these Islamic extremists away from the building. The Met also seem to have done the square root of sod all to stop this mob harassing those walking by whom the mob identified as Jews.

When I look at the way that the Met are ‘policing’ this mob I ask myself would they behave in a similar manner if this was a group of non-Muslims peacefully protesting about a mosque that was linked to religious extremism? The answer I’m afraid is no. In that case the Met would go in with batons and pepper spray and there would be mass arrests.

The weak behaviour of the Met over the Islamist mob outside of a Jewish community organisation shows us that in London there is a clear two tier policing system which protects Islamic extremists whilst at the same time abandoning the law abiding non-Muslims to fear. The Met is clearly in a mess and although I do not believe that this culture of appeasement afflicts every single officer it is a culture that the Met’s management has gleefully and enthusiastically signed up to.

London and its residents deserve far far better policing than they are getting from the Met. That better policing system can only be achieved with a clear out of the Met’s tainted management and more resources devoted to showing that the Met can police equitably and far less of the diversity bollocks that has gone a long way to creating the foul culture of appeasement that afflicts the Met today.
