From Elsewhere: The Scottish Greens are utterly mental.

About the only positive thing about having Greens in a coalition government is that the general public get to see just how mental these deluded mentalists truly are. Sadly there’s a lot of downsides from having Greens in government such as failed energy policies, anti private transport policies that often have devastating personal and economic effects and dangerous gender identity nonsense.

We’ve seen in Scotland just how bad the Greens can be with their ideological obsessions and general idiocies and the writer Malcolm Clarke has done a great piece on his Substack about how the Greens are too mad even for the failing Scottish National Party (SNP) administration led by Humza ‘Useless’ Yousef. Sadly the whole of the article is behind a paywall but the first part of it which is available for free is a fabulous dig at the Greens in Scotland.

Here’s a sample of Mr Clarke’s work in particular his description of the Scottish Green Party.

Mr Clarke said of the severing of ties with the Greens by the SNP:

The move is cathartic for a party that has been on the back foot for months and grown increasingly sick of the ideological obsessions of the Greens. These may well be the same obsessions that gripped whatever passes for a soul in its ex-leader Nicola Sturgeon but they are being rapidly consigned to the past by the SNP, a party that’s now desperate to dump the baggage of her era.

How things have changed. When Nicola Sturgeon brought the Greens into government in a power-sharing agreement in August 2021 many assumed it was some sort of diversity scheme to give people with serious behavioural problems the opportunity to integrate at the workplace.

I know we’re not supposed to joke about mental health now and quite right too. On the other hand look where that got us. Three pathological fruitcakes running a country into the ground while barking at the rest of us about pronouns.

Great comment from Mr Clarke. Sadly it sums up the Greens, not just in Scotland but in the rest of the United Kingdom as well, which is utterly mad and unfit for government.
