From Elsewhere: The ‘Green Prince’ weighs on on the Starm-Fuhrer.

Anybody who takes the slightest interest in the political situation in the Middle East or in the subject of Islamic extremism will probably have come across Mosab Hassan Yousef. Mr Yousef is the son of one of the founders of the Islamic terror group Hamas but rejected both the ideology of Hamas and later rejected Islam itself. He turned away from the horrors of Islamism and instead became one of the Israeli security agency Shin Bet’s top agents. Nicknamed the ‘Green Prince’ Mr Yousef’s work with Shin Bet has saved countless Israeli and other lives. The information that he has supplied to Israel has prevented terror attacks, assassinations of Israelis and has contributed to the breaking up of numerous ‘Palestinian’ terror cells. What this man doesn’t know about the ideology of Islam and of Islamic terrorism could be written on the back of a postage stamp.

Mr Yousef is the man who knows what he’s talking about when it comes to Islamic extremism and its dire impact on societies and nations. He’s recently weighed in on the subject of the recent disturbances in the UK, the rise of Islamic extremism in Britain and the two tier way that Britain’s Muslims and non-Muslims are being policed. He has called out Sir Keir Starmer aka the ‘Starm-Fuhrer, and has told him via a post on X (formerly Twitter) that the repression will not being about peace. He also referred to Starmer and politicians like him as ‘compromised’.

Mr Yousef said:

Keir Starmer thinks he is preventing a civil war in the UK. But in reality he doing the opposite. The UK government is repressing its citizens’ fundamental rights to please Muslim and foreign entities. On one hand granting Muslim the freedom to demonstrate their totalitarian and hateful ideology in mass gatherings, at mosques and in public, on the other hand prosecuting individuals for expressing their concerns of a growing problem on social media. Repressing freedom of expression on serious issues will lead to vicious cycles of violence and retaliation. Because the British people will never accept to be ruled by compromised politicians. This idiotic policy will backfire.

I wonder if Mr Yousef might be correct in his assessment of the situation? Starmer is trying to kick the can down the road by cracking down on Britons who dislike the ideology of Islam whilst simultaneously pandering to Islam and to Muslims. I can’t see how this is a sustainable solution as it’s a bit like stuffing a pressure cooker full of stew and then taping down the safety valve so that it does not function as it should do. Anybody who has used a pressure cooker will know just how important the safety valve is on one of these devices and by removing from the public the safety valve of free speech and especially free speech about Islam who knows what will happen in the near to medium term future because of that?

Starmer is I’m afraid one of those politicians who look like they are compromised. The obvious bias in the way that he’s tackled the recent disturbances and the lies that his government have told about ordinary and rather upset Britons being ‘far right’ are not the way to turn down the social temperature.

It’s clear from my observations of how the government has handled things that the bullshit ‘don’t look back in anger’ ploy that treats Islamic terror attacks as if they were some sort of unavoidable natural disaster no longer work therefore he’s going for full on repression of dissidents, not just those who have been engaged in violence but also those who speak up about the problems that Britain and Britons are facing.

It will be interesting to see how Starmer reacts to the next Islam inspired atrocity, which will surely come, because the effectiveness of the ‘don’t look back in anger’ policy didn’t work after Southport and probably won’t work after any future Islamist atrocity. I want to see the violence end and maybe the way to prevent future trouble is to treat everyone the same under the law whether they are Muslim or not and to reinstate the safety valve of free speech.
